What is with the onslaught of emails today....and from men who are 20+ or less younger than me. What is the scam? Does anyone know? I would go for 10 years younger but most are beyond that.

When I get that from much younger women it's mostly scammers I agree. They usually deactivate before I can read their messages. Lol

Just because a younger person writes to you, it doesn't mean they are a scammer.

It's easy enough to delete, block and report - but it's figuring out who is real and who isn't that's the pain in the arse.
I've decided to ask "Are you a scammer" and see how that works. I agree, if you fix your mail settings it helps a LOT! I also agree, this is not a Mingle2 problem, it's any free internet dating site. Good luck |

Good luck I can just see me asking if she's a scammer...she replies, "Yes, but I'm only a APPRENTICE scammer. Is that okay?" |

If they want your private e mail addy or phone number or ask you to write to them or text them at theirs right away; prolly a scammer. If they ask for money; no doubt a scammer. Otherwise, hey, a few e mails back a forth don't cost ya nothing. |

I have had about 3 or 4 messages today and they asked for my email so I gave them this email cybercrime@policescotland.co.uk
if you know the email address to your local area cyber crime division for the police just give them that email |
