Hmm... I have had to learn to keep my inner Taurus on a very short leash... Usually I succeed, because thankfully I have quite big other influences that can surface if I keep the Taurus in check. But sometimes... well... I am still a Taurus, lol.

Censored... I am still struggling to not use the F word so much, but apparently half a year in Australia still has an effect on me, even though that was over 25 years ago. The UK friends I have (had) didn't help either, hihi.

I'm on another international forum where censoring is stricter than it is here. You cannot even use @$$ or chit, not even spelled like that. Your posting will be removed and you get a PM from a mod.
At some point I seriously didn't know how to phrase something cos I couldn't use the word "@$$", haha.
So much for being an eloquent (ex) English teach ... It did make me acutely aware of how many of those words I tend to use ...

Censor myself? Who me? Whatever for? And to those of you compelled to ask why I say 'because I know me, and how it's all just a vicious cycle... and unfricknbelievable some of the $h!t I say. And I really don't give a flying fig newton' --unless of course somebody walks by, upon which time I realize I've been speaking outloud, queued by their mentioning meds and always about how I'm three hrs late for mine. Then it occurs to me ever so fleetingly how at times like those, I really should censor whatever it is I have to say. But only fleetingly mind you because after all, and by that time, I'm the only one still speaking to me anyway.

I censor myself almost all the time on giving my opinion or advice. I don't censor myself on bad language because I don't curse at all.

People say communication is the key, but I have found some truths are better left unsaid.

After eight years in the NAVY sometimes a wonder if I'm going to bite my tong off. If I said what ever I wanted whenever I wanted O wouldn't even be able to keep a job and as far as what I say in the forums, there have been many a time I did not post what I typed.

My censoring is in the form of editing to express my thought s more succinct.

Sometimes my editing could do with some more editing

Sometimes I delete/censor a thought because I see it could cause unnecessary hurt.
