I just read that entire thread from last night where they got suspended...did the guys get suspended also???

THX 4 the heads up. I read the thread that got the whole mess stirred up.

It seems that it turned into a 'report the abuse' orgy.

I thought they all held theri own intil the reporting started.

very unfortunate. very sad thing to see the discussion deteriorate into an emotional abyss.

I'm really saddened by the loos of Bl8ant. She's BLATANT, but real. I will miss her.

Regardless.. whether you agree or not. None of us, who have posted here, with one exception... Mike.. have our name attached to the domain, have to sell advertising space, deal with the headaches of answering complaints from patrons, Either designing or paying for the design to make it attractive. Pay for the bandwidth, server, advertising... etc... All the headaches and business of running this sort of site.

None of can see the how's and why's - from where we sit. Unless one of us has hacked into their servers and heads.

The only criticism I have for Mike is this:
If I were you, I would not defend actions and decisions I make, both in order to stay beholding to my TOU and keep the peace as best as possible. Ultimately to stay within my business model and FCC regulation.

I have a business too. I certainly do not justify my decisions to folks who benefit from it, both directly and indirectly. Who have invested no money and have no motive but self, for reaping that benefit. In other words "Not a client"

Frankly put... It is none of our business. We have nothing invested...

I used to cook free meals for the homeless. If someone complained.. I told them to go and see the matride at the door for their full refund. Which...according to my records... was nothing.

I'd suggest that anyone who has so much issue with how this site is run, find some funding, go and buy a domain, lease or buy a server and trunk... and run that site however you see fit.

As for the folks that are suspended. I'm thinking they are still here, waiting out their suspensions. If they aren't so upset as to leave.. Why should anyone else be?

All I can say to everyone, obviously we know the rules..the people banned will be back. We will miss them but banning them had to be done!!

I think Spur should have been banned for good...but why bl8ant? I must have missed something?? HMM I guess Mike has his reasons..I am not even going to question it...I just read the entire thread and didn't see where she said that much!!
Unless this is her first time maybe?? Oh well I am off to bed..its nice and quiet at my house, its drama free~~just the way I like it

Well ya all may not like it, but ya all need to put your big panties on deal with it............cripes.... been banned(suspended from posting) twice myself on both times defending myself and yeah while 2 week stints hurt, the rules are there and sometimes I would rather chew someone's ass out in French, get the cards out on the table and risk the ban.... kinda separates the uniqueness each one of brings into this... I won't tolerate a rude wuss...... in either sex....

and while ya all want to jump on this and say and whine...not fair... Van and Mike still have a job to do and as unfavorable as it seems... without them moderating all the crap we dish out.... um.... look around real good... because in here... we have it good... so stop your pis sing and moaning and get back to the threads........ or else I'll start golden showering everyone...... LOL

They should just create another account. And then if there IP has been recorded, do what I do. I renew my IP. Happens to me all the time. :)
