I don't know if men do this, but a lot of women do. I don't bother going any further and skip or say know. Regardless of looks or eyes (important to me). Any of you ladies care to explain? I understand the idea of mystery, but secrecy where you have to know the password, fuggedaboudit.

Most of the men here do the same thing unfortunately. And most of them don't fill out the rest of their profile either so there is nothing to stir your interest other than a fake profile pic a lot of the time. Sometimes its because they are scammers. Sometimes its because they are just here to kill time , and lack focus. And sometimes its because they prefer to save those conversational titbits for an actual conversation.

Well, I've been there when I haven't filled out anything to begin with either. On some sites it takes forever to go through all that, and all I want is to check out if the site itself is worth my time or not. So I learnt I best skip all the stuff, just become a member, check it out, and if I don't like it, I'm gone.
At least that way I won't have wasted my time. I mostly do that on sites that don't allow you to see anything much until you've signed up.
I never did that at first, but quickly learnt to change my MO. Many dating sites don't have quality members, some hardly have any members at all.
If a site is worthwhile, I just fill out the details later and upload photos too.

When they're not scammers it's pure laziness and a lack of education.
A smart guy wouldn't even bother with those women whose profiles say NOTHING about them. In fact, they save us time!

Yes and I think a lot of those could be from people joining and just seeing what the site is like. I did that when I first joined....and have been slowly adding to my profile.

I see this a lot in men's profiles, and the first paragraph consists of one word, "Hi" and they don't fill out anything else. I don't even bother with them. If they can't take the time to fill in any information then they aren't looking to hard for anything meaningful.
