I don't mind so much if a photo is a wee bit older (like half a year, a year or so. As long as you still look the same.)
I DO mind when a picture isn't clear. Like overlit, fuzzy or whatever. Immediately makes me think they're hiding something, trying to look better and younger than they do in actual life.
Don't see the point of it either, if you were to meet someone they're going to see bags, wrinkles, triple chins and any other 'flaw' anyways.

My current picture is a tad overlit too, but I have and have had plenty of clear(er) pictures on here and my profile to show what I look like.
