Some women like to compete with each other in every aspect of life, even with the most irrelevant of things & sometimes it can turn deadly & go on for years & decades...& along the way just to outshine the one they trying to make a point to, they don't realize or care how many lives or hearts they'll be destroying along the way just to prove to other individuals that ''I am better then u, or i am the prettiest or have the best man or i have it all in life & way ahead of you etc and all dat chit.
This subliminal rivalry can turn very sinister at times & unseen to many but it exists in a lot of societies

Only people with low self worth feel the need to compete in this way. It's the need to prove something to others but mostly to themselves.

I already l know I'm the Queen of my own world so I have no need to bother with that kind of nonsense.

I've overheard some viciousness in such underhanded ways.

A guy will say: You're SUCH a D!<K !!!!

A girl will say: OH What CUUUUUTE skirt! .....I was thinking of wearing my slutwear tonight too.

Yeah, but for men it's normal, healthy, what they need. We addressed this issue not so long ago in another topic, cannot remember which one.
Women are not supposed to compete with one another, they are supposed to support one another. (Basic psychology, archetypal feminine & masculine)

What helps men to reduce their stress levels (also to do with hormonal release to make them feel good) IS competition.

What helps women feel better (also hormonal, --> Oxytocine release, which reduces our stress levels) is being with other woman, supportive other women that is, NOT competitive other women. That would have the adverse effect of creating more stress.

For a woman competition is stress-increasing and NOT natural. We do it automatically cos we've been reared to do so, because society is masculine energy based still.
This is slowly changing, but we're not there yet.

This chit tends to start really early on in girls. When they're around 7 they are already real biotches and very nasty to one another, excluding a girl from one minute to the next if the 'Alpha girl' is displeased. One minute you're an accepted member of the girl group, the next you can be cast out and get chit for years on end.
I don't think even boys are that harsh and nasty to one another. Very masculine behaviour that is ingrained and shows its ugly head at such an early age!
Go figure what it'll take to get that out of our systems!

Women may, can and will do whatever pleases them at any given moment, and woe to any man who dares suggest different (not that I would because it's not my problem) whether it be making themselves out to be better than the next gal or better yet, the next man, out of self-consciousness, vanity or a misplaced inferiority complex or debasing and destroying a man's life who's done them no harm just to "feel the power" they can exercise in this modern society... Personally, I stopped giving it mind since I found out that most men would rather crawl behind their "honey" than stand up and walk besides them I would say their treatment by women is self-imposed.
I just worry about myself and stay true to what I know to be right. The rest is just noise to me.
When the norms of this present society dictate that any and all criticism of women is misogyny, all a man has to do is look to himself, better himself and overcome his own shortcomings without worrying what the opposite gender does, thinks or feels.

IMO you are describing more the idea of insecurities than competition.
Of intrinsic vs. extrinsic value

People need to know their place in the social hierarchy to feel secure.
Some people determine this value from internal means.
That is where competition stems from.
"I know myself and my capabilities.
If they are challenged, I accept and respond to prove them."

Lots of people determine their value from external means.
Forcing people to validate an image in order to prove the image true, because for whatever reason they can't feel secure relying only on themselves to define it.
"I am scared I might not know myself and my capabilities or I'm not living up to an ideal.
If I can determine how you react to me, I can determine what they are from that response.
I want to be a certain type with certain capabilities, so if I can manipulate you into responding a certain way, then that will prove I am that certain type with certain capabilities."


Kind of like asking which king is true.
The one whose entire being, attitude, personality, demeanor, power, is that of a king?
Or the one everyone else but him says is the king?

Perception is everything.
Some people feel secure in how they see themselves.
Other people only feel secure in making sure others see them how they want to be seen.

But it's not "competition."
The people you describe aren't competing with the other women, imo.
They're simply using a means to seek security in validation of identity and value in a social hierarchy.
