Some of that is good, but I don't know about the rest. If I am really pissed off, I want the guy to take me seriously and respond accordingly. Trying to cajole me or kiss me at that moment is not such a good idea. I don't want an a$$ kisser either. It IS nice when he is considerate, but I don't want a guy to be a total wimp. =...and some of that is almost SMOTHERING..... just my thought.
