The idea of ‘missing links’ is irrelevant. That’s an old argument that fundamentalists give as a last resort.

Spider has already shown the truth concerning this matter.

He stated that there couldn’t have been any death prior to sin. It was the sin of Adam and Eve that gave rise to death. Prior to that time life was supposed to be perfect.

Well, the evidence is perfectly clear that death was very common before man came onto the scene. Evolution doesn’t even need to play a part in this at all. The evidence that animals lived and died before man came on the scene is crystal clear.

Therefore death was commonplace and a perfectly natural event before “sin”. Thus the biblical picture once again is show to be false. And that doesn’t even require evolution to have occurred.

The Bible is wrong. To continue to fight against scientific knowledge and progress at this stage is beating a dead horse. The Bible is DEAD.

Show me an evidence that supports fossils and I will explain to you why that same evidence supports creation.

My question is where in the Bible are the "self-inconsistencies"? You are now saying that if the theory of evolution is contrary to the Bible, then the Bible is false, that isn't what you claimed earlier. Where does the Bible contradict itself? You claimed that to be true, now I'm asking you to prove it.

What is that "fact" based on? That seems to be what you are missing, that the basic evidence that is used to support OEC and evolution can equally support creationism. The "fact" you present is already based on the belief that the earth is old. That is starting with a conclusion and finding evidence to support the conclusion. Gathering information and following the information to a conclusion is how science is supposed to work.

Conclusions are not evidence. I have asked for evidence and you have offered conclusions. The conclusion is that the earth is 4.5 billions years old, what is the evidence? The conclusion is that dinosaurs lived before mankind, what is the evidence. Of course I can't use your conclusions to support my own, that's impossible. But your evidence can be used to support creationism. So please, give some evidence and I will do my best to show you that it can be applied to creationism.

You will have to forgive me, I just realized I allowed you to get me off track agian. While I will run down this rabbit trail with you, if you really want to, my request to you is still unanswered. I find that telling, that you claim that the Bible is full of "self-inconsistencies" (I'm not sure what that means), so I have asked for examples. Do you have any examples of "self-inconsistencies" in the Bible? Please post a couple, so that we can have a logical debate as to the merits of your arguments.
