Peggy, I understand that. It's normal for you. I'm comfortable wearing flats. I just date wearing something I am comfortable in. I think everyone should do that.

I saw the title, and wanted to give a smartazz answer. Then, I saw who the original poster is. Crap! I have to be serious now. .... On topic: Dress however you're comfortable. Time and place thing. pays attention to the OP of the thread and then crafts his answer in a way that is acceptable pffffft...whatever man |

Lets see...
Last meet and greet I had, I met someone at the airport... Wore a comfortable tank top with a cropped summer-ish cardigan and a pair skinny jeans that showed off my curves... If Im not comfortable, then Im not feeling hawt & smexy... If Im not feeling hawt & smexy, well then Im just not that comfortable... *gigglesnorting* Edit: Next meet and greet, I will be the one walking off the airplane... Yep.. Gonna be comfortable then too.. Unless it is hotter than fresh tar being laid out on the road outside... Then Im in trouble.. *smirk* |

I wear clothes that are comfortable.
Rejection is much easier to take when comfortable as opposed to feeling stifled. |

Scenario is during the day, NOT a dinner thing. Just wondering what you yourself wear on a meet & greet? And what do you expect/hope the other to wear? Do you guys expect a woman to turn up in a dress / skirt or is casual okay too? By which I mean, jeans and a nice top. SOMEONE SAID ''CLOTHES SHOWCASE A WOMAN'' BE YOURSELF AND COMFORTABLE..... |

About a year ago I met a guy for lunch. It was not from this dating site. We only wrote a couple of times and I was the one to make all the arrangements since he didn't know how to do that. I had to figure out what day to meet, what time, where, when. He didn't do anything. Right before the meeting he wrote to ask what I'm wearing. I said I'd be wearing jeans and a red sweater. He said, good, I'll wear a baseball cap. ??? He had that on his profile photo and wore it through lunch. Men are not supposed to wear a hat indoors. Bad etiquette. Made me think he was bald and wanted to hide it. Ok, I'm short, I don't wear heels to be taller. I have a flat chest, and I don't pad my bra. I go out on a date as myself.
