You got DBZ as a kid? I first saw it chopped up on Cartoon Network. Thats how i saw it too. I've been buying the DVDs that are uncut and with subtitles. Its still pretty campy, but its soooooo much better than the english version. |

I never really got into DBZ, but I'm sure it was good. I got started on 'My Neihbor Totoro' when I was very young, because the video store/gas station only had 2 kids movies, Cinderella and Totoro. LOL! Then I started skipping school to watch Sailor moon. I fell in love with Anime. I watched the movie, 'Ogre Slayer', then there was 'Princess Mononoke', then Castle in the Sky','Spirited Away', 'Neon Genesis Evangalion', and recently, as in the past 6 years,
-Inuyasha -Bleach -Wolf's Rain -Samurai Champloo -Cowboy Bebop -etc... |

I remember I'd go over to my friend's house instead of work (I've got a different job now and don't do that anymore) and fall asleep on the couch watching dbz.

I can't remember what channel it was on, but yeah, after school we would all hang out at my place and watch Sailor Moon followed by DBZ. I liked the masked caped man in SM. I never did find out who it was. |

What's better is that he didn't even know it. They did a transform sequence for him once, saw a clip of it. |

yeah, we sure did.
we used to watch Gummy Bears and Thundercats and Smurfs and Duck Tales and Talespin in the morning and then Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon when we got home from school. There was one other cartoon/ anime we watched, but I have forgotten what it was... |

I liked Tuxedo Mask until the second story arch that made him the "moonlight knight" I was like "WTF is this?"

oppressive regime versus plucky skilled insurgents,lol.
its better than it sounds. kind of a throwback ot older gundams where it was smaller groups of bots fighting, but it still has a big battle or 2. the one kid is psychic which is kind of lame, but it lets them get away with more. if ya want i can find a synopsis online, its not a abd show by any means. |
