most "lists" and gripes, are from either being burned, bad experiences, or possible insecurities.... I understand the gripes, but what many do not know, and may never figure out, is that it draws exactly that energy that you are trying to defend against, directly to your door, and any good people that they might seem to want? it turns them off totally. This is profoundly true and a great life lesson Peggy, forgive me, I don't know how i missed this. I'm honored and humbled that you think so... thanks! ![]() ![]() No probs darkowl. It was easy to overlook amidst 15 pages of our rambling lol. And you are very welcome! ![]() |

Wish when people ask you what your name is and you tell them they actually believe you. Oh well. You could give them an option of 4 fabulous names and ask them to choose the one they think suits you best ![]() LOL yea that is a good idea. It would really freak them out if I put my name in Kaw not translated. LOL I would have to dig out my paperwork and see how to write it because it is kind of a dying language and most names are translated to English and I don't speak it. I think a lot of it is so many scammers put Native American down like that is going to make them somehow have extra believe ability. LOL most people don't know a Native American from other races if it is standing right in front of them. Especially if they are mixed blood which most are at this point. Oh well. |

Questions I generally get in chat are...
How old are you? It's on my profile. Where do you live? It's on my profile. What do you do for a living? It's on my profile. What are you looking for on here? It's on my profile. What do you do for fun? It's on my profile. |

I havent met that many scammers in the chatroom but the few I met usually have Caucasian in their profile and they are often from the military. |

It's on my profile. What do you do for fun? It's on my profile. Yeah. That's soooooo annoying. When a couple of guys did that to me, I told them to go to my profile but to be honest, I felt kinda bad afterward. It just felt kinda arrogant. It might be better if I take the time to repeat the answers in my profile I think |

And can converse with you, bringing up relevant points that pertain to what you have written.... Now that....shows they truly are interested in what you seek.... |

Its a lot of information for my brain to handle so I genuinely forget things at times but what I try to do is keep revisiting the profile during the convo to remind myself . Maybe other people have a memory issue like I do but find in easier to re-ask a question rather than re-visit the profile a million times. If that is the case , would you still be critical of the person? |

Intolerance of others . .. Don't sweat the small stuff and laugh . . There are few things in life more attractive and good for your health ![]() ![]() I agree with you. Some of the profiles here sound so stuffy and uptight. And we all have moments when we act that way but for me, its a really unattractive thing to see reflected in a profile |

I get your point and it really makes a lot of sense but I generally leave some room for human frailty. If I am impressed by a guys profile, then I tend to give him a chance to see if the interaction lives up to the profile. It doesnt take long for me to answer the questions on my profile. If the guy can't engage me impressively enough after that, then I politely tell them that I am sensing that we dont have enough in common and suggest that we both keep looking and thank them for their time |

If a woman is looking to get married, I'm probably not going to contact her. It would be a waste of both of our time, since I'm not looking to get married at this juncture. Little details like that. |
