To be honest I don't like pictures of me... why should I torture you with one? Maybe you can have a pic professionally taken? They will give you the most flattering lighting, angles etc. Dont sell yourself short. You might me pleasantly surprised

i think i am putting great effort in seing the fingers/nails of the person (it is rare that you can catch a hand shot lol). this is kind of my obsession. the bitten nails = run in the opposite direction ! But my hands are terrible B. I bite my nails all the time lolol

The overuse, and abuse of “lol” really annoys me. I have a reasonable explanation for that violet tigress. Although someone might be fun and lively in person, often the written words come across as serious, boring or harsh so people try to lighten the mood with with lol and smiley faces. What do you do to lighten the mood/tone in your messages. I wouldnt mind some advice in that area

And it goes on and on. I could fill up a whole page about what has irritated me. Or some may rather call it "peeves" me. But the fact of the matter is, people are people. They are just who they are. If you are going to online date, the best thing to do, when you go into it, Is go into it not expecting anything. Put your peeves aside and accept people the way they are. It's easier that way. At least, it was to me. I think it's the reason why I got a lot of dates. I met a lot of kooky kooks. But I also met a few good women. And for the most part, I had fun. Well said charles1962! You are not the only person in this thread who felt that our griping was pointless . To be honest, i didnt expect that people would be commenting 19 pages later ! I think the chatworld is kinda overwhelming for people and this thread has become a safe space for blowing off steam without doing too much damage. But you are right! After all the ranting, we all have to accept the kinks of this alrernate universe aka "the chatworld "and, focus on our goal and most importantly, ENJOY THE JOURNEY!!!! Congrats on finding your mate! I am sure she was worth the wait .cheers!

What about the "indicate they are widow" criteria? Do you think they write that to create affection? or? B!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am now seeing your question. I wonder the same thing too sometimes. I guess we may never know for sure. I am certain that some of them are real but its so annoying to have to investigate them . I am too lazy. I dont even bother but i dont judge anybody who wants to take the time to explore

I think i will stick to my boring lol and continue to annoy poor violet tigress if she will tolerate me :)

Does everyone on here ever consider that there are people that steel your profile picture all the time? I read a couple of months ago that a lot of people that post their picture on the internet (including dating sites), have their pictures stolen and used by anyone for anything. I have seen a lot of the same pictures all over the place. That's creepy. haha that is how i found mingle2 there was this turkish gut i have met on what of the sites many years ago there was something wrong with him that wouldnt fit in place. i caught his lies. so tracking his photos with reverse google image, i ended up here obviosuly the photos were belonging to an australian guy who is a member of here, and the turkish guy stole them and used.

someone from the site had doubts about me being real, he wouldn't believe. last night we had skype cam call. i am cleared now
