We not talking alimony....we are talking a 50/50 split in assets regardless, of who brought what into a relationship, alimony is added to that.....so, I would not say the gals are clueless, in fact, just the opposite...

Do you boast about property? How else would they know?
Saying it's because of where you live ... do you always take new dates home? AND tell them you own an apartment or whatever it is you got? If you boast about it, what do you expect? There's always ppl attracted to money, not just women, men just the same.
And if you really have so much property, maybe date other people who wouldn't be after your money/property because they got plenty themselves?
And if you're into students and nurses, don't boast and don't tell them. Give them a chance to like you for you.

I think no one filters his date based on profession, it is just at I get students and nurses more. And if someone whom you like ask you about the place you live and job you do, you would tell well I certainly like to be honest. I like to know the person whom I am taking on date but that doesn`t mean I will ask her to share her bra size or give nude pics on my first date. Asking salary or property details on the first date is a similar thing for guys in my view. Hope I am making sense.

Thanks Joe for giving me that idea, never thought in that fashion, may be I need to update my profile . But then I don`t want to be a scammer magnet, I already get so many mails asking me for money daily. With great difficulty I am able to filter real gals and then this happens.

All depends on individual countries laws....here in Oz live in...de-facto relationships are considered a bond real enough so that after 6 months a breakup is treated the same as a marriage breakup...

Well at your age it would be expected that you have something and if they have busted their chops to have what they have; especially a lucrative job skill; where they can get nailed for any co-mingled debts maybe they are trying to figure out if you just play at a job or are at least marginally successful also.

Personally there is no way in heck I am getting myself tangled up with some playboy who can't carry his own water at 30 Something. Especially if he is up to his eyeballs in debt for an over priced property I may or may not want to live in so he "looks" successful at a job that I would consider VERY iffy.
