So just for the record! what is your property worth ..op.?.lol

You are of the wrong gender to that question dude laugh
..my my.. look who is stereotyping now...lol.. I think both sexes wonder what the other person is worth.. but typically it is not the first thing you should be thinking..
But then again when you get older in life and begin to date again.. it is a concerned... you don't want to date somebody who has nothing or has a bad credit record... we all look for security in one form or another..yes..

Well said and thankfully he is actually running into women who have some kind of financial responsibility. It is certainly better than the little princesses that want to party all the time and are inches away from being evicted or are and are looking for a place to land. Maybe he is lucky and doesn't know it. How hard is it to say " And this information is important to you because?" Maybe they are looking to tell you that they are eyeball deep in student loans or they get pay child support they loose if the remarry and don't want to waste their time on you if you are going to bail on them? Maybe they are looking for you to tell them some financial tips. Who knows. If you start ASSumeing about peoples motives before the facts are in that knife cuts both ways.

Wow I was pointing that a guy is asking that question to another guy so it was joke on that..lol
I understand seeing security is valid but on the first date? That is the puzzle

Tell them what business is it of yours?

That is not a polite thing to say, so I say that it is too early to ask such a question.

I think saying that stops them even asking in the future.
What business is it of theirs?
Oh my gosh when I am ask that the warnings signs how up. They want what I have worked hard for.
If they can't handle it straight then they are not the one for me. I wouldn't want them

I know it may sound rude but I think my happiness also counts and rather than spending a sad life together, it is better to have some fun and go on our ways. Also we both get something out of it, satisfaction and they get an expensive gift too shades

Thats true and it is the first thought I get when I hear such a question. If they ask the same question after getting involved with me then it makes sense as they are looking for security and I know about them(they are not behind my money) but such a question on first date just throws away the long relationship idea.

I don`t understand, why any gal I meet ask me for the worth of my property? Whats the story behind that?

Simply because we can't litterally eat love. Ironic, but hey, just being realistic here.

I respect your view but we have lot of examples where people are happily living in love and have given their lives for love. It may sound like fairy tail but i have seen my grandparents who were poor but feel in love, lived together and luck brought them fortune. So sorry but I believe in fairy tails and true love where money doesn`t matter. I can spend a fortune to find that kind of gift.

I respect your point of view too. :)
And I believe in fairy tales too, Jimmy.
But I've learned that real life fairy tales are different than fairy tales we've read in books or watched in the movies. In the books, the story ended when two people who're in love reached the last chapter where they live happily ever after. But in real life? The chapter doesn't stop, and happily ever after only last until the new chapter begin (and, oh, it will begin) with a whole new set of problems.
These days? People don't fall in love just for love, anymore. And yes, some of them are lucky enough ended up being in love for real. But love, from what I know, doesn't happen in a blink of an eye. (But what do I know of love? I've just borned 27 years before yesterday.)
Maybe money can't buy love. But it could buy someone's time. And who knows? Love could happen in time.

I guess "Best wishes for your birthday princess" flowerforyou
Using money to buy someone`s time is illegal in all the states except nevada glasses happy
I had experienced true love but lost her in a tragedy and no matter how much money I have I couldn`t get her back so thats the reason I value love over money. I love to spend time and know each other but asking for money or property from a stranger makes you a scammer n beggar. If someone loves me I don`t mind buying her gifts and helping her out in need.
Sharing your feelings and eager to talk & do stuff together makes you close and fall in love not just by saying "I love you".
