I've always been tuned into my intuition. I wish I knew how better to explain this. There is usually mutual attraction, on both our sides. I think I also knew deep down that our personalities were very compatible. We weren't opposites. We were both very happy jokey people.

...wanted to marry that woman when you met her?
I've read that when men meet a woman, they almost instantly know that that's the woman they want to marry. Doesn't mean they marry her right away, but they know right away. Guys: Did it work that way for you? (Talking about WANTING to marry the woman of course!) Gals: When did you know you wanted to marry that man? How long did it take (approx)? I've only had that <WHAM!> "WOW, she's really awesome!" experience twice in my life. The first time, the relationship didn't last very long (probably because we were too young). The second time that hit me, I refused to pursue it because she's married - and I'm not the kind of person to destroy someone's marriage. (Even though she acts like she's *really* attracted to me as well...) 
I didn't expect that kind of "lightning" to strike a 2nd time in my life, so I guess that it's slightly encouraging to me. If it's happened twice, who knows, maybe it can happen again... (It's pretty d@mn rare though...) |

I kinda knew from the moment she kicked me in the butt for the very first time. 7 months ago. 
You kicked him in the butt? Guess we all know who's wearing the pants in this relationship! No hang on ... a male Taurus who allows himself to be kicked? Hmmm ... You either love the woman a lot or you ain't no Taurus

Actually when I met my ex and the only time I have been married I knew right away I wanted to marry that man.. We were married in less then three months.. lasted 11 years..
So yes it can happen~~~

I have felt that feeling on several occasions before but they always weren't with someone I dated or if I did, it didn't last (too young or whatever).
The woman I did marry, started out as a casual relationship as I didn't think it would last very long. But she knew right away she wanted to marry me. After 2 yrs of dating (and living together) the relationship and feelings grew and I proposed to her. We married the next year and after another 3 years her love faded and she solely wanted to focus on her career, didn't want to try to have kids anymore, and we ultimately amicably split. Then I felt that instant connection with someone new, but once again, they weren't into me. So nothing happened. My life has been completely out of sync with everyone and the rest of the world, it seems. |
