Harleys are not for riding. You can put a tiger in their tanks. You can stroke their tails. You can play with their carbies. You can finger their instruments. You can caress their pipes. You can ogle their headlights. But if you want a bike, get a Triumph.

PS I ride a Raleigh push bike.Wanna come for a ride ?
Oh and I got a leather jacket.

my now ex-wife I never really wanted to marry...I honestly married because "that's what you should do"...but never had to that "I'm madly in-love" feeling.

My current long-term girlfriend I knew instantly that I wanted a long-term relationship with, but because of my previous marriage I think with my head, and put my feelings in check on that particular subject. Honestly I no longer see the benefit of it, just the pitfalls. I'm not saying I'll never marry, but I probably won't until the benefits outweigh the pitfalls. ..for example if she gets really sick and she'd be covered under my insurance if we were married...then I'd consider it....but it will never be based on a feeling. ..I can have those without the paper

We did not actually get married but we lived together and yes I knew the minute I met her I wanted her to be mine.

Wonderful!

I heard this for fact from an expert who'd asked a lot of men. I was just curious to ask you guys here to see if it was true :)

I guess I should not have mentioned "get married" as it seems to put ppl on the wrong track.
It's not about getting married, but about instantly knowing she's the one for you. Or as you phrased it: knowing you want her to you yours.

If that was true op... I would have 30 wife's. .lol

And I guess that against Mormon rule? Maybe try Islam?
But you gotta admit, 30 IS greedy! And if they'd truly all have their period at the same time, they'd all PMS at the same time too

interesting answers,,,,

Yes, indeed! Makes you wonder if speed dating is a better way of meeting the right one than going through all these meet & greets and dates.
If most men, and some women, know right away, regular dating is just a colossal waste of time.

On Women:

Yes, I knew instantly. Upon meeting her, my only goal was to make her happy and her life better. Best decision I ever made. She purrs and sweet talks me as she pets me a lot. We handle each other with care! Life is like a dream, but better.

On Bikes:

I gave my triumph 650 to my best friend and bought a Harley Wide Glide. The first time I rode her I knew instantly. She purrs and sweet talks me and I pet her a lot. Maybe I would have been a little happier with a Road King with floorboards as pegs can become a little tiresome but my Wide Glide handles like a dream ... or better!

Sadly, never had that feeling, with both marriages, we meet, had a great connection, made the move to have sex quickly but in both cases took exactly 3 years before we tied the knot. Unfortunately, in both cases the wife changed and I divorced the first one after almost 15 years and the second one earlier this year after 6.5 years of marriage. And after two divorces and the cost and hurt associated with it, I'm very leery now of even thinking of marriage. But of course said that after my first one ended. So never say never.

Everything depends on the accuracy of the time, the necessitated need ,the situation and circumstances that surrounded your meeting. This is because when some people believe in love at first sight(coz this is not far from it),all the conditions aforementioned might determine how long a relationship will last. If you meet a lady in a club house when you both are drunk, its almost likely that its the environment that is the catalyst of the necessity. Trust me these are all derivatives of personal experiences
