I just wanted to say in Tom's defence, that although things aren't as good as they are perhaps elsewhere. He wasn't stipulating on Great Britain as a whole. Only England.
Maybe the line of royal descent is not all English. But it is still a Monarchy 
By the way, as an afterthought. The governer of California is an Austrian body builder.
