Winnie
Come share some lamb with your friends. Let the trials of your day fade away. We are here for you. |

It sounds like Wouldee could be having quite a few guests to dinner.

The big question is who likes mint sauce (not mint jelly) with lamb?

One of my favorite songs
Shout to The Lord My Jesus, My Savior, Lord, there is none like You; All of my days I want to praise the wonders of Your mighty love. My comfort, my shelter, Tower of refuge and strength; let every breath, all that I am never cease to worship You. Shout to the Lord, all the earth, let us sing power and majesty, praise to the King; mountains bow down and the seas will roar at the sound of Your name. I sing for joy at the work of Your hands, forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand, nothing compares to the promise I have in You. |

Well, Winnie, now I am curious, pray tell.
A friend just emailed me this so could not wait to share: THE BELL I KNOW WHO I AM I am God's child (John 1:12) I am Christ's friend (John 15:15) I am united with the Lord(1 Cor. 6:17) I am bought with a price(1 Cor. 6:19-20) I am a saint (set apart for God). (Eph. 1:1) I am a personal witness of Christ (Acts 1:8) I am the salt & light of the earth ( Matt.5:13-14) I am a member of the body of Christ(1 Cor 12:27) I am free forever from condemnation (Rom. 8: 1-2) I am a citizen of Heaven. I am significant (Phil.3:20) I am free from any charge against me (Rom. 8:31-34) I am a minister of reconciliation for God(2 Cor.5:17-21) I have access to God through the Holy Spirit (Eph. 2:18) I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realms (Eph. 2:6) I cannot be separated from the love of God(Rom.8:35-39) I am established, anointed, sealed by God (2 Cor. 1:21-22) I am assured all things work together for good (Rom. 8: 28) I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit (John 15:16) I may approach God with freedom and confidence (Eph. 3: 12) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil. 4:13) I am the branch of the true vine, a channel of His life (John 15: 1-5) I am God's temple (1 Cor. 3: 16). I am complete in Christ (Col. 2: 10) I am hidden with Christ in God (Col. 3:3). I have been justified (Romans 5:1) I am God's co-worker (1 Cor. 3:9; 2 Cor 6:1). I am God's workmanship(Eph. 2:10) I am confident that the good works God has begun in me will be perfected (Phil 1: 5) I have been redeemed and forgiven (Col. 1:14). I have been adopted as God's child(Eph 1:5) I belong to God Do you know who you are!? Keep this bell ringing...pass it on:) "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn His face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26 NOTE: If you copy the text into a word processing program and center it, you should see the shape of a BELL. It looks pretty cool. |

I would not mind having lamb more than once this week. I could have it the Greek way. That sounds like it has to be good. (Just the two of us Winnie, leave the others to get their own) I would think there will be a lot of garlic in that rendition, then the mint sauce, (not mint jelly) also sounds good. I had a lamb with mint jelly as our final dinner on the dig we did up in Scotland. The sheep were a pest around the dig, and when the family we stayed with fixed up a young lamb in mint sauce, it tasted extra good.
All this talk of good food is making me hungry and it is not even day light yet. |

Happy posting JB.
THE SEED OF GOD The seed of God is in us. If the seed had a good, wise and industrious cultivator, it would thrive all the more and grow up to God whose seed it is, and the fruit would be equal to the nature of God. Now the seed of a pear tree grows into a pear tree, a hazel seed into a hazel tree, and the seed of God into God. If the seal is pressed completely through the wax so that no wax remains without being impressed by the seal, then it becomes indistinguishably one with the seal. Similarly the soul becomes completely united with God. Meister Eckhart (1260?-1327?) |

Good morning all.....Hope this beautiful day finds everyone rested
and happy. I need some good coffee with vanilla creamer.....yumertz..... sometimes I put things in other religion threads that I also would like to share with you guys. This is one of those times. I am sure many who visit the coffeehouse know of or have encountered funches thread.......Well I finally had to resign myself that it was a waste of time trying to give information to someone who was going to have none of it.....So this is how I ended being in this particular thread. If you find dissatisfaction with God, this waves a red flag to the enemy. The empty places in our lives become the enemy's playground. Picture a spacious, green golf course. The flags tell the golfers where the holes are. Something similar happens to us in the UNSEEN. None of us have reached adulthood without some holes in our lives. Some have more then others due to hurts and traumas, but we all have holes. You can be sure the enemy has flagged every hole as a target. We spend untold energies in anger and bitterness over why those holes exist and who is to blame. Healing begins when we recognize how vulnerable those empty places make us, tally the cost of filling them with useless things, and seek wholeness in Christ alone. In my opinion, wholeness in Christ is that state of being when every hole has been filled in Christ. No one can take away the holes of someones life. The damage cannot be undone. It must be healed. The holes can't be taken away, but they can be filled. As we take our last at satisfaction in Christ, our goal is to see satisfaction at its greatest beauty. We want to see a picture of a satisfied person fully displaying God's splendor. Isaiah 58 paints the portrait perfectly. Lets step up to the easel and take a good look. |

Oh Winnie, sorry to hear about your fall, but glad you are okay. Just rest up as much as you can (with children that can't be easy). You will be in our prayers. |
