Personally, I do but if I come across a profile I like, I will let that person know what I think even if it is just a compliment and nothing more. If we want to learn more about each other then we go from there.

I have heard of Men on dating sites complain that no one make contact with them. Maybe they should add that to their profile and let the sheilas or whoever they prefer, to make contact if interested.

I have had some that I write to once to ask them if they want to have dinner sometime, they write back and say "sure" and then they stop writing forever after that. Contact? heck I can't even get views. the ladies that have caught my eye don't appear to be looking and then after reviewing their wants and requirements I am outside their parameters. So no I don't contact them, that would be rude since in most cases I don't meet their requirements.

If I see someone I would like to meet, I put them on my favorite list and see if they respond.
