When was the happiest time of your life.

and why?

and how old were you?

APART from the usual, getting married and having children.

so for example, travelling the world etc.............



I am just trying to avoid daily events like wedding, birth, and looking for LONGER TIME SPAN'S OF HAPPINESS.

Im interested to see what 'HAPPINESS IS' TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE.

Next weekend if I'm still above ground.

I'll be alive and spending the weekend with my woman.

Old enough to know that every day should be spent as the happiest day of your life since we never know what tomorrow will bring...

Which reminds me that this weekend should be pretty cool too since my younger daughter and her boyfriend will be here for a visit.

I was three years old and my father told me he was proud of me because of something I had done without even thinking

Every time I accomplish something or do anything. Basically whenever I make an effort I know that he's proud of me.

that's lovely, that memory has stayed with you and always will.

Mmmm happiness.
Most look backwards and can see it, but not necessarily in real time,
perhaps it is easier to gauge it from the perspective of distance.

I, however, have been happy since I left home at 18.
I do what I want to do, when I want to do it.
I read a book a day for the sheer joy of it.
I have pets I adore who reciprocate.
I get to cook for my mate.
My mate is love in a tall package :-)

I can look behind, and see where I have been.
I can look ahead and see where it leads.
I laugh out loud every day (thank you M2) and
I write every day.

That is why I am happy :-)

mmmmmm...this one is gonna be tough but fine I will be honest

happiest time of my life was a span of about five years..
the year I dated my husband and got engaged
first year we were married
the year I was pregnant and gave birth to my first born son

my little bubble of a world was to me..perfect then
we lived in a little apartment and were broke
he was trying to finish up school but my entire existence
of who I was and who I wanted to be was so wrapped up in rising each morning
seeing that bright little face light up when I picked him up from his crib
I was full force into being the best wife/mommy
reading cook books, learning to sew, keeping our little place clean and tidy
I washed and ironed his shirts for when he was student teaching
I menu planned and did shopping
I was in my element then..the world was our oyster
everything was still out in front of us
we were young and full of hope

The day BEFORE I got married!;)

For myself, my happiest period of time was when I was training to be a nurse and helping people mentally and physically sick. It felt so nice helping the sick and the vulnerable in every way and helping take those worries away the best I could and made sure they knew and felt they were cared for.

Just holding an old lady's hand who is frightened and talking and listening eases that patients fear.

It meant so much to them and such a small act from me.

I loved every second of it.

breaks my heart that I cant do nursing ever again due to my own health issues.

BUT, that still was my most happiest time in life for a long period of time. Theres many more, but there more daily events.
