I asked the Lord into my heart when I was about five years old, I grew up in a christian home, but didn't always go to church, my mom has become a much stronger christian over the years, and that has encouraged me to become a stronger christian myself. Unfortunately, I have also seen many strong christians fall out of their faith. I have always loved the Lord, and lately I've been working on a better relationship with Him.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
A time is coming near, that is disguised in wars and "rumors of wars". The USA is involved in a "war" in Iraq and it is a mere distraction. I pray that your ministers are addressing this now, because it is of great importance. Glory, Glory, our time is near. Soon, the chosen peoples of God will take the Temple in Jerusalem from the Moslims. In preparation of The Lord Jesus Christ to come and begin the end that will truely be the heaven on earth we have been waiting for. All Christians must do all that they can to support the Jews in this. Jesus cannot come until the Temple of Jerusalem is taken again by His chosen people. St. Paul tells us that God did not forsake His people because they did not accept Jesus as the Messiah!! The God of Abraham and Moses promised this land to the Jews, Hebrews, Isrealites, all are the same. Lift up your hearts and see what is near!! Russia, China, Iran, Iraq, are all being used as distractions while the Chosen people of God take what is rightfully theirs/ours so that the King of Kings, Our Lord Jesus Christ can come in glory and battle satan for what will be the last battle between good and evil. Our Lord will triumph and we believers will be here to live in The New Jerusalem. The final judgement will come and we will live in peace, never to die again. We will live with our God to enjoy what He has created and peace will pass all understanding and all of our questions will be known the answers. We must do all that we can, in prayer and some in deed to be sure the Kingdom is ready for Our Lord. We will rejoice. There will be the last judgement of the living and the dead and we will suffer death no more, but, will live in the love of The Living God, in the whole world like the Garden of Eden made new. There will be no strife, no heartache, no hunger, no pain. It will be as God planned from the day he gathered earth unto His hand and made the first humans on the earth. There will be great battles as man has never seen before and we shall not be harmed, but will live forever to love The Lord and enjoy all that He meant for us to have. Do not be afraid! Have faith! Hold on. Teach your children and their children to obey the Lord, God Almighty and it shall all be as He promised. I am tiring, my brothers and sisters. I will rest soon. I am filled with The Holy Spirit to bring these things to you, so you do not lose faith. Let not the news of the world disturb you. It is as it shall be and there is nothing to fear. May the peace that passes all understanding reign in your hearts and minds from now until we are all rewarded that which was promised. Be joyfull and happy. Dance for The Lord. Sing His song. It shall be. Amen and Amen. Come in Glory, Lord Jesus Christ to reign forever and ever in the world that you made for us. Peace, my brothers and sisters! |

I thought my daily devotion was so apprapro for here and a few other places.....God Bless
I took courage, for the hand of the Lord my God was upon me, and I gathered leaders from Israel to go up with me. Exra 7:28 How appropriate for today. He who is afraid to own Christ has but little love to Him. as the sun expels fog and vapors, so divine love in a great measure expels fear. Does he love God who can hear His blessed truths spoken against and be silent? He who loves his friend will stand up for him and vindiate him when he is reproached. Love animates a Christian. It fires his heart with zeal and steels it with courage. Many, being drunk with the wine of prosperity, when the honor of God is wounded and His truths lie bleeding, are not affeted by it. If we love God, our hearts ache for the dishonor done to God by wicked men. To see the banks of religion broken dowwn and a flood of wikedness coming in, if there be any love to God in us, we shall lay these things to heart. |

Daily Devotional (Charles Stanley)
Reasons to Trust God – Matthew 10:29-31 What a comfort it is to know that, as Christians, we put our faith in a God who truly loves us. Divine love, however, is only one of three reasons we can trust God with our lives. He is also perfect in wisdom and absolutely sovereign. Because God sees the big picture and knows all of the facts, He has infinitely more wisdom than we do. In His Word, He promises to make our paths straight when we trust Him (Proverbs 3:5-6). Still, we sometimes look at circumstances from our limited perspective and say to God, “I think You forgot something.” We choose to try our own solution but find out the hard way that it was the wrong choice—all because we didn’t trust His infinite wisdom. Of course, we cannot see the long-term consequences of all the events in our lives. But we can trust the One who is in perfect control of everything that happens. Jesus told His disciples that not even a sparrow would fall without God’s consent (Matthew 10:29). He also told Pilate—a prominent Roman official—that he was powerless to order the crucifixion without the Father’s approval (John 19:10-11). God has always remained 100 percent sovereign over everything that happens, from a little bird’s safety to the extraordinary events at the cross. Peace accompanies the realization that our Father has perfect love, infinite wisdom, and omnipotence. When you understand who He is, you don’t have to worry about what He does. |

(Spurgeon – Daily Devotional)
He shall take of Mine, and shall show it unto you." --John 16:15 There are times when all the promises and a doctrines of the Bible are of no avail, unless a gracious hand shall apply them to us. We are thirsty, but too faint to crawl to the water- brook. When a soldier is wounded in battle it is of little use for him to know that there are those at the hospital who can bind up his wounds, and medicines there to ease all the pains which he now suffers: what he needs is to be carried thither, and to have the remedies applied. It is thus with our souls, and to meet this need there is one, even the Spirit of truth, who takes of the things of Jesus, and applies them to us. Think not that Christ hath placed His joys on heavenly shelves that we may climb up to them for ourselves, but He draws near, and sheds His peace abroad in our hearts. O Christian, if thou art to-night labouring under deep distresses, thy Father does not give thee promises and then leave thee to draw them up from the Word like buckets from a well, but the promises He has written in the Word He will write anew on your heart. He will manifest His love to you, and by His blessed Spirit, dispel your cares and troubles. Be it known unto thee, O mourner, that it is God's prerogative to wipe every tear from the eye of His people. The good Samaritan did not say, "Here is the wine, and here is the oil for you"; he actually poured in the oil and the wine. So Jesus not only gives you the sweet wine of the promise, but holds the golden chalice to your lips, and pours the life-blood into your mouth. The poor, sick, way-worn pilgrim is not merely strengthened to walk, but he is borne on eagles' wings. Glorious gospel! which provides everything for the helpless, which draws nigh to us when we cannot reach after it--brings us grace before we seek for grace! Here is as much glory in the giving as in the gift. Happy people who have the Holy Ghost to bring Jesus to them. |

Dear Lord, earnestly I seek You. Help me not to fear, but to be strong and courageous, standing on the promise that You will not leave me nor forsake me. Together we'll cross the sea. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Can anyone provide a good reason for reading God's Word.
Here is one: 1. For direction. We do not know where we are going, what lies ahead, but when we read God's Word He will guide us. "Direct my steps by Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me" ps. 119:133 |
