I want my man to be taller than me :) For me it is a sign he can defend me more than a shorter man can do. That's what I believe, no offense to shorter men (I am 5'4 1/2).

Pretty curious. It's not a problem with me. I've heard many woman say, "I can't date a guy shorter than me" What's the reason? Is it that you guys would feel dominate if you were taller than the guy? Women don't want short men.. never did.. never will.. that's the way it goes. Shouldn't really be a problem, as there are chitloads of short women, so to them a shorter man will still be tall, lol Haha Crystal. I'm 5'1" and I like over 6'. I will go out with 5'10" but that's about as short as I go. So the short men are screwed even with some of short females.

Some chicks dig midgets. Best of luck. umm he is 6 2 Thanks Sitka! When I was younger. I wanted to be taller in high school. I wanted to be at least 6'5. Yeah I know crazy! We come from a tall family. My grandfather measured at 6'8 from Spain! In my opinion I just couldn't see myself with a woman taller than me! That's a big no no lol Well since I am so dang short... I had to stick up for any shorties out here...rofl... My first husband was 6'7 ex was 6'4 It's all good lol

Since then I realised he has been wearing 3 inches of insoles shoes.. That caught me by surprise. Nowadays fashion and demand do change for guys..

I prefer taller. I am 5'7 and dated someone an 1 shorter than me and couldn't wear heels.

Quite a lot of chicks in the real world have told me they like tall guys & that my height was one of the things that also attracted them....I'm only 6'1'' yet I look taller & bigger & I do tend to bully guys unintentionally that are 6'6''

it is one of my preferences, but with enough of my other preferences , it is one that can be foregone,,, though it only happened once,, he was maybe an inch shorter, but his confidence and strength and humor were enormous,,,,,,

Being tall is something to be grateful for, however you need to be compatible regardless of size. And if you find a short guy, and he's "the one" then passing that up over a superficial trait would have been the worst thing you ever did. At that point it's biology vs the soul. And the soul should always win. And this is coming from a 6'6 guy.
