But seriously...all drugs, including alcohol and tobacco have their own culture. Its a question of whether to promote it or not.

the only way to get things changed is to promote it... like the gays did with gay marriage... so if we want weed legal, we have to promote it, pop culture is good at that

if you could tax weed.. the government.. would wholeheartedly support it.. but it is easy to grow in anyone's backyard ... or out in the middle of the woods where nobody is around ;-)

personally I would not want to work with somebody that is either drunk or stoned all day.. oh sorry dude I didn't mean to cut your toes off..

When Down Under everyone around me was smoking grass. I'd never seen anyone smoke it in my life. Someone tried to force it on me, which doesn't work with a Taurus, so I didn't.
Not until approx 2007, as my ex smoked. And at some point I wanted to try it, see what it was like. So I had the occasional spliff, grass at first, switched to hash later on. Liked that better. Softer. Grass just made me cough and wheeze.
Early 2009 decided I was fed up with it. Didn't do much for me, just cost a lot of money. So I quit.

It has been allowed over here for donkey's years. An awful lot of ppl on our island / area smoke. They are sodding around with laws to stop drug-tourism. We had French driving 3-4 hours just to buy grass or hash over here. Insanity.

The way I see it, you can't stop it, and when it's allowed, you take it off the streets. They tried to ban it here a few years ago, then you get the criminals selling it, you take the whole scene to the dark alleys again.

What is concerning is youngster smoking as it does effect the brain when you start smoking during teenage years. And many here do, in spite of not being able to buy it themselves.

So in itself, I ain't against it. But I don't want it in my home no more.
