I make awesome pork side ribs smothered in a Jack Daniels barbeque sauce...fall off the bone tender and mouth watering...along with an awesome Greek Salad and your choice of wild rice or mashed potatoes dripping with melted butter and for dessert my Red Dress cheesecake!!

How do you prepare your ribs???

Baby backs with a dry rub...wrapped in plastic and allowed to sit overnight in the fridge.
Smoke em the next day...usually with hickory.
Sometimes basting with sauce, sometimes not. Depends on my mood. If I do use sauce, its Sweet Bay Ray's Original.

*Side note...for something different....cut into individual ribs, season how you like em, roll in flour and fry til golden brown. Better than any fried pork chop youve ever had. The extra meaty baby backs work best for this.

Both recipes sound awesome

Can you please explain why ribs? Why not steak?

The ribs I see don't have much meat on them and its not worth doing it.

Thank you
We use pork ribs for a boil up with watercress and spud
Even then still little meat

The only way i see heaps of meat on them would be a homekill

I have never met anyone who did not salivate over my ribs.

*Wrap rib rack in foil tightly
*Heat in oven 2 hours at 275*
*Unwrap and soak with your sauce (I like the TonyRoma's
......BBQ sauce, of which Kraft Original is very close.)
*Bake at 350* for an hour, uncovered

I leave the foil on the bottom of them because when you
go to lift them out they fall off the bone and the foil
makes it easier to maneuver.

My moms recipe,

beef or pork ribs. Put in metal pan with sliced onions and seasoning. Put in oven at 200 degrees and cook for and hour or hour and half. Remove and take to grill. Finish their with your favorite BBQ Sauce.

Oh while in oven cover with foil!

I've experimented with many rubs and I tend to change over time. My latest uses lots of black pepper, cumin, garlic, smoked paprika, chipotle, salt, and nutmeg.

I made a sauce of reduced dark rum, pomegranate molasses, black pepper, red pepper, mustard, wine vinegar, and agave.

My cooking team was rated seventh in the world for ribs a few years ago. I am constantly changing recipes.

I boil mine for 3 hrs in super large pot, covered . Then in fridge overnite. Then sauce (sweet baby Ray or Jack Daniels) and foil wrap. Cook at 200 for 3 hrs.

They're always delicious and fall off bone yummy.

All of these sound delicious.

Mr. Archer you and I do it very similar I do soak my hickory and apple chips over night to that is does a wonderful smokey flavour..

Definitely rubbing and letting them sit at least overnight in the fridge. If I also use the exacty BBQ sauce love Sweet Baby Ray's if I want to add just a twist to it I might add a bit of concentrate Orange Juice and honey..Start basting about 2 hours before done.

OH lordy they are good...

Just fixed ribs yesterday... Bought boneless pork ribs.. Put them in thick foil doubled it put in the ribs Sweet Baby Rays BBq Sauce, onions, black pepper and a 1/3 of a beer. Wrap tight put in a pan. I fill the bottom of the pan with water. Cook at 250 I ended up cooking them for 6 hours the meat just fell apart... Yesterday just ate a salad with them.
