I'm having some problems updating my windows from 8.1 to 9. Does anyone know what the issue is with a PC? Need help.

They said on the news they completly scrapped Windows 9 because of all the weaknesses they ffound in 7 and 8. Here they are offering Windows X (10)

it's a free upgrade for 8.1 users...

I have 8.1 and have been recently offered the free upgrade to 10, although I have not done the upgrade yet.

my email said after it's released on the 29th...

I received the email some weeks ago, I had thought it was available now, but on rereading it seems only a Windows 10 Technical Preview is available (Part copy of email printed below). I did a free upgrade from 8 to 8.1 some 18 months ago and still finding my way round 8.1 so not in a rush to windows 10, but I will do after it's released keeping it up to date and more secure.

ok first of windows 9 .8 was renamed to 10 as the search engine was crap and couldnt do any distinction between that and win98. Second, win 8.0/8.1 is win 10. More to the fact win is a pos with less graphics and more bloat in the back end , and slower then win 7 so sad.

you would think mickysoft would get things right ,but they never do.

just finished downloading win 10... seems way better than 8.1 was... anyone else get it yet?

mines ready to download to windows 10, but im not sure if I should because ill probably mess up. im using 8.1 now.

much, much better than 8.1... the apps aren't separated from the windows anymore, and everything is better organized... and when you close an app, you don't have to go and turn it off from using all your memory now...

it really makes 8.1 look like something they didn't put much thought into...

it was pretty easy, just click a couple of buttons and then wait about an hour or so...

Thank goodness, finally. Can I download w10 for free? I really hated the other version of it. Windows 8.1. The easiest one for me to use was w7. Hopefully this one is as good as w7 was. Thanks.

so far it's way better than 8.1, i liked win 7, but i couldn't use apps with it...

fun trying to fix stuff when you have no idea where anything is

win 7 was good, maybe the best, but win 10 you can also connect with your Xbox account as well... the only thing about win 7 did have any app support...
