In order to enlist such a angry reaction from some HUMANS about a topic/thread that doesn't affect them either directly or indirectly - neither monetarily or physically the flipside of anger is 'FEAR'...hence there is a HUGE amount of FEAR MONGERING taking place about something that in the nanoseconds of space won't stop the humans from breathing! And yet the over reactions and angst will just keep bubbling up like lava and spilling over! Solves nothing - and yet the reactions are predictable and telling!   
Spoken like a true theologian! Predictable and telling indeed! I did read much anger and angst in several responses. So, pray tell, what exactly it is that you fear? Do you fear that people will dwell in their own views of right and wrong? Fear that you can't change their minds to share your opinions? Fear that all the distracting language will not lend opacity to your own trepidations? People either like, dislike, or are indifferent. Cajoling them into joining the "socially accepted" mindset doesn't create a Utopia. Places where that occurs are the same places where they stone the heretics. People where I'm from, at the time of this writing, still enjoy some semblance of freedom of speech to express their own ideas and views. Fact remains, Jenner can do what he/she/it wants, everyone else can applaud/boo/or not care about his doing so. One thing I would like to mention is that his "sacrifice" of public scrutiny DOES create dialogue about the topic and may encourage others to make their transformations many years before they are nearly 70. But, IMO, it also makes it impossible for his transformation to ever be whole. He will always be seen as the "dude looks like a lady" man. And side note, I just heard on a news broadcast about his flashing his sons his breasts and their uneasy reaction to that. Is that a laudable achievement of self discovery or just plain weird? Would you think the same thing if a 70 year old mother was exposing her breasts to her children? But enough about this for me. I've made my point for the acceptance of the expression of differing views. I'm not really this concerned with Jenner's sexual identification, whether he is nipped or simply tucks, where his lingerie comes from, or any other aspect of his psyche. Sometimes if we just keep shizzle to ourselves no one else will have anything to say about it.

In reality, I really don't care what Jenner does. But I would have more respect for Jenner if he was documenting his change " for all to see".. for free. But he is not. He gets paid for this. You see, when you get paid for something, you are not doing it as a public service. You are not doing it to help others who come after you or to document the "struggle" You are doing it for money. It then becomes a commodity that you are selling. So at that point, I loose all respect for him But that is JMO Could he be doing it for more than one reason?.... Could be.. but I doubt it. Based on his past history of making a living doing "reality" T.V.. I would think his core reason for documenting this " transformation" is for financial gain. Maybe some of the fault (responsibility?) lies with the entertainment industry and viewer ratings..They (media) wouldn't be buying if there wasn't a market...Plus, who's to say it won't be helpful to some men and women who struggle with gender identity...Kinda like "Biggest Loser"??...No pun intended

Very few cases where someone is born with external characteristics of one sex but on inside may have chromosomes that say otherwise. The rest have chosen this somewhere along the way for various reasons. People choose to do a great deal of things..dress up in women's clothing or get into whips and chains or same sex partners or self mutilation
