For men procreation and sex are the same thing, so if you know biology then you know men wanting sex is natural. Prostitutes provide this service to men without all the stuff that normally comes after sex/procreation, because those things are women's issues and men don't really want to deal with that just for sex. So, they'd rather pay for just sex. Well you are certainly entitled to your opinion... For me it goes much deeper than biology (no pun intended), so I guess this is just one more thing we will have to agree to disagree on... :-)

I'm talking about natural processes since I believe they are the reason why men go to prostitutes and not women.. Imagine if men had babies how would it affect the sex industry?

I think some people need to understand men and women have different biology. what??? where was I when they passed out this information. I knew I picked the wrong day to skip class. back to the original question, does it really matter why people doror don't frequent prostitutes? unless you are one or go to one what does it matter to anyone else. in the scope of reality there are bigger things to focus on depending on your values. raising and loving our children is important. taking care of our planet is important. being there for those who need us. these are only a few examples. just living life is important. why waste time passing judgment on others. why waste time arguing a point that is non essential.

Thank you Yellowrose, for pointing out Gigolos do the same thing for women that prostitutes do for men. But besides that....who cares?! If people want to use that sort of service, then there shouldn't be any issue, even for those of who don't approve. It's not their body, life, or risk. Sex is sex, no matter how you look at it. Whether for recreation, procreation, or just that feeling of getting laid....sometimes it's just about getting off. Not for having kids, or loving feelings for someone. Masturbation loses it's fun after so long, so having someone to "share their magic" is great for those who don't have other options. Ok, I'm done!

Prostitution is one of the oldest occupations known to man. Lets find out why men have patronized these women till date. Dating back till ancient times, prostitution is one of the oldest professions known to man. As much as many people around the world frown on it as a profession, a good number of men still patronize these red light street women, spending a good amount of their income on them to get sexual release. As much as sex is a basic necessity of any human being, procuring it from a woman who has had multiple encounters with other men, increasing the chances that she might have an STD or deadly disease, still baffles many. Could it be just the need for sexual release, the thrill of having an unknown lady in one's bed , or an addition? Lets hear the opinion of people on why they think men still patronize prostitutes today. There are many reasons why men (and some women) would obtain the services of a prostitute. There are also many reasons why a woman (and some men) would choose to be a prostitute. As long as both parties are involved are there of their own choosing I don't see a problem with it. The only issue I have with prostitution, rather it be male or female, is the fact in many places it's illegal. "I don't understand why prostitution is illegal. Selling is legal. F*ing is legal. Why isn't selling f*ing legal? You know, why should it be illegal to sell something that's perfectly legal to give away? I can't follow the logic on that one at all! Of all the things you can do, giving someone an orgasm is hardly the worst thing in the world. In the army they give you a medal for spraying napalm on people! In civilian life you go to jail for giving someone an orgasm! And we are SOO sOOO soo supportive of having 'free' sex between adults,,,,why do we legislate it at all? If they spend a hundred at a fancy restaurant and live show and get sex, thats fine but if they just give the money to the woman so she may actually USE it for necessities,, thats illegal? I think some people need to understand men and women have different biology. Sex for the purpose of procreation as far as a man in concerned begins and ends in sex. It is the woman's body that continues the act of procreation after the sex is over. Ok, biology lesson has ended, now let's apply our lesson to real life: Men seek prostitutes for this biological urge, call it for sex or for procreation, for them it is the same thing and it is safe to say it is purely sex which they are paying for. or a hour of quiet time away from a "certain" type of women.
