Topic: Sex Is A basic Necessity,Yes. But Why Do Men Patronize Prost | |
---|---|
Prostitution is one of the oldest occupations known to man
So is cook and killer. Lets find out why men have patronized these women till date.
Demand begets supply. sex is a basic necessity of any human being
There you go. You've just answered why men have patronized these women til date. If you recognize it as a basic necessity of any human being then it's like asking/saying "lets find out why have men patronized restaurants till date." Could it be just the need for sexual release, the thrill of having an unknown lady in one's bed , or an addition?
Sure. But it all goes back to you saying "sex is a basic necessity of any human being." The rest is just rationalizing the scale of consumption. Lets hear the opinion of people on why they think men still patronize prostitutes today.
It leads to pleasure and/or fulfillment. Emotional, mental, validating, social, physical, spiritual (tantra ho's), etc., of some kind. |

for those who consider it a need,, I imagine because the service meets the need,,quite simple
we frequent restaurants, even though others have used them,, we dont care, as long as they feel our need at the time we need it no different to any other service really |

Lets hear the opinion of people on why they think men still patronize prostitutes today. Could be any number of things, but one thing is certain, the law of supply and demand (availability and desire) will insure its survival long after all of us are "dead and gone".... |

It is pretty simple. Society says men are suppose to behave one way; having sex on a regular basis, but then make the availability of sex rather limited various ways.
While using a prostitute may not be ideal it is often less complicated and safer than getting involved in a temporary relationship that is way more likely to end up in and unwanted pregnancy, accusations of abuse, even rape, and or other social complications from the women's friends and family. Dating women who will agree to casual sex usually leads to exposer to or at least time spent in alcohol and drug dense environments. That is not always the case in seeing a prostitute. Dating to the level of actually attaining sex is time consuming and costly and may or may not result in quality sex. I don't know that most men view sex with a prostitute as "quality sex" but generally they can dictate certain preferences with out much more than financial negotiations; unlike other relationships where it gives the female leverage for other considerations. Current social trends say that women are not obligated to provide sex as part of a relationship or even marriage; even when there is no complication precluding it. If the man then wants out of a sexless arrangement the costs are extreme. Since many women seem to cling to the idea that sexual desire in oneself is suppose to mean some emotional or personal attraction even when men often say very clearly it does not men are then labeled liars which is hardly flattering and can sometimes have consequences outside the relationship. And last but not least that women/society believe that casual sex resulting in procreation, even when the result was clearly unintended, obligates paternity at least muddying the waters by using a prostitute seems the less risky option. |

As many of my fellow high school class mates were so busy giving their virginity away {or being cohereset by some drunken older sports jock into it}; we had a debate in Social-Econ class about the profitability of making Prostitution a Licensed Business like in Nevada! This carried on for well over a week before rumor carried out of the classroom and into the ears/hearing of a school board and the teacher got into trouble about the subject matter {circa 1970}...but it was quite fascinating and the discussion quite lively too; not a boring couple of weeks for that class - not at all. But seriously - why the hell not; why not make it a legal business with health checks and taxes assessed to the business? |

Seems no one has mentioned the obvious. The 'skill' level and services that can be procured from a working girl that your current partner may not be willing or able to provide.
Some cultures have sexual taboos, and some women are steadfast in their refusal to perform some sexual acts. Due to injury or some other physical challenge, your partner may not be capable of doing something you would like. So, if the desire to partake of those acts outstrips the desire to stay within the relationship, then prostitution would seem to be the logical choice. You can be pretty confident that you'll get what you pay for, and it would seem the women involved come in literally all shapes and sizes assuring you get someone who you find attractive. |

What is the fascination with sex that other people have?

What is the fascination with sex that other people have? i was wondering the same thing, seems that people get confused about "needs" and "wants"... people base their entire relationship on sex, then wonder why it didn't work out when they break up, even tho the sex was great... i would much rather have a great, lasting relationship than good sex anyday.... |

Why are so questions & threads indirectly resort back to sex ? And women's behavior? Prostitutuon is legal in many parts of the world & is either tolerated or ignore in others. Or... women are stoned or burned to death ,on mere suspicious of sex out of wedlock. Why do men seek out prostitutes ? Why do men seek to have sex outside of marriage? Why do men want to talk about it on forums or in public? good luck getting answers...lol I 'd like to combine some of the ideas and questions in your post and ask why do men seek prostitutes and then want to stone them ? Shouldn't the customers be stoned as the real criminals? Have sex with them and stone them no matter what; she combed her hair? "She had it comming. She put on make-up and perfume? "She had it comming. She wore tight clothes? "She definitely had it comming. Ok now I'm been facetious. No wonder woman hate us. Actually about a month ago here (CND), they were trying to pass such thing in Parliament about it been legal to sell but not buy sex..lol. Thats the stupidest thing i think. The John's ARE stoned,At least in the states they have intrapment stings that I've seen on TV.Here? Its not one of the rights I need to know.I would guess its against our rights here, its just that, intrapment. Couldn't the guy just say he was selling her sex If they were caught publicly? Like the Hugb Grant On sunset strip episode.Or both deny it That it was for money. I guess they could both be charged for a lude puplic act. I can see that been a lot more dangerous for the street woman as they will cooperate more with the police also many will try to take the money and threaten them with the police Which isn't going to end very well half the time I would imagine. "Rainy Day Woman # 12 & 35" Well, they'll stone ya when you're trying to be so good They'll stone ya just a-like they said they would They'll stone ya when you're tryin' to go home Then they'll stone ya when you're there all alone But I would not feel so all alone Everybody must get stoned. Robert Zimmerman (Bob Dylan) song title "rainy day woman" brings me to our next explaination. Whats to do on a rainy day? "Everybody must get boned" ..lol Hey, many babies have been born '9 months' after long power outages in big cities like NY. Many in the winter due to short days and bad weather Like yours truly and my little sister that I kiss. J/k.I have an older sister that said 'get away from me you little creep...lol (The song title was actually the age Dylon guessed to be of likely a mother and daughter that stepped into the studio to duck the rain) *Book of Acts is from the Gospel of Luke, and contains an account of a stoning: "Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God... And when they had driven him out of the city, they began stoning him, and the witnesses laid aside their robes at the feet of a young man named Saul." In this story, Stephen received his sentence after giving a speech to authorities who were going to kill him no matter what he said. This relates to how Dylan felt about his critics, who were going to figuratively "stone" him no matter what he did. Wow...another fact:^^^^ Bobby D never has and says he never will write a song about drugs. You, Uche,David and prehaps others would be more familiar with Book of acts than I although I need his help in my work day,day In day out. Boy did I ever go off on the wrong track,I was smoking grass to this when I should have been reading the bible..I wonder if I could sue Dylon ha ha. I don't think anyone has ever won that sort of thing. I remember the Judas Priest trail. Ok now I have them all confused exept you ya rock head...lol "and sometimes words have two meanings I think you can see that" hello to all |

Prostitutes provide what normal women won't; a pure form of sex.
