Mostly I quit involving others. ..I just try and learn from my past mistakes.
WAIT! I lied... I talk to dcastlemissy about a lot of personal things. She's my most honest and trusted friend! |

Spring, my dog. So far, her advice has been to 'harrumph' once or twice, look at me with her well-practiced 'Two-leggers are so friggin' ridiculous' glare, turn her back and go to sleep.
It reminds me so much of my ex's behavior that I quickly take her advice and find other stuff to think about. |

No one actually.
I never ask a man about another man. * Don't trust that "boys will be boy's thing "* And I very, very rarely ask a woman... because they tend to speak from their own frame of reference, & some may even want sabatoge you. So if ever.. someone that has had many relationships, not just 1-2... * that is tolerance, not experience* |

For dating advice?
The person I am dating. Otherwise I don't look for dating advice from others. Because at 15 I received the only advice I've ever needed, and really it's pretty much all dating advice in one form or another: 1. Mom and Sister - "You're handsome enough, don't worry about it. Keep trying. Don't over complicate things or focus only on what you want and don't have. Don't date unless you have something to offer or give." 2.Dad and Grandma - "Here's 20/5 bucks. Go to the mall. Ask every single woman, no matter what she looks like, if you can squeeze her boobs. 99% are going to say no. Forget them. You want that 1%. The rest won't matter." Who is your must trusted confidant?

THE MAN IN THE GLASS
When you get what you want in your struggle for self And the world makes you king for a day, Just go to the mirror and look at yourself And see what that man has to say. For it isn't your father or mother or wife Who judgement upon you must pass; The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life Is the one staring back from the glass. Some people may think your a straight-shootin' chum And call you a wonderful guy, But the man in the glass says you're only a bum If you can't look him straight in the eye. He's the fellow to please, never mind all the rest, For he's with you clear up to the end. And you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test If the man in the glass is your friend. You may fool the whole world down the pathway of life And get pats on your back as you pass. But your final reward will be heartaches and tears If you've cheated the man in the glass. Peter "Dale" Wimbrow Sr. also copywritten in 1994 for the International World of Poetry contest Honorable Mention Award Jacqui Avila-Bell (goes for ANY Advice) |

Oh my!!!! Thank you everyone for making This Gal feel NOT SO ALONE in this
I am still mostly new in the dating arena, and learning. I do have a female friend and a male friend that I do ask advice sometimes, but mostly I just trust my own feelings/thoughts. |

I stopped listening to others advice, that's why I'm in a relationship.

Why would I need dating advice? You have to get dates before you need advice on them.
