To be fair to prithvii.... I think he is by far the most polite of the young guys from his region in our forums. He has kept his cool, and not been overly rude even though some of us have jumped on him.

Where I am from, intermarriages between the blacks (Indians) and white, or should I say peach/beige/yellow (Chinese) are common. And I had an Indian boyfriend along the lines of 'tall, dark and handsome' in my younger days. Back then, it was frowned upon, but it wasn't the reason we broke up. I still find the modern Indian fascinating..... especially if he is learned, courteous, knowledgeable and a good conversationalist.

I also have a Mingle friend who is an Indian but is a fellow countryman and corresponded with some from Delhi too who are closer to my age.

So, prithvii.... it can happen! Just don't follow the paths of the numerous young guys wanting that green ticket to the west. Be who you are, courteous, respectful and someone might like you for what you are.
