I have to disagree. When a woman gets ready to go to a social function, they treat it like some sort of contest. Women always notice the most attractive woman in the room and are self conscious. Generally speaking, men are not like that at all

because girls are all talk. And we change our minds often!
guys just fistfight! ;] hahaha. And then go out for coffee. Or beers. or whatever you do.

I think you guys are stereotyping all women with some women... I know who I am, and what I'm about, I don't have to have a competition with another female, I'm comfortable enough with myself.

you notice who has the nicest car or fastest boat or prettiest g/f.
i never go to a social event and treat it like a contest.
i go to have fun or have dinner with my friends.
i am not one who cares if the rain ruins my hair or anything like that.
and i have been around guys who say things like "wow she has a huge butt" etc. or "he spends too much time on his hair"

I would have to disagree with you on this one. Men are bad at this...come on now be honest!!! I use to be friends with a bunch of guys and when we use to hang out and a really good looking guy would walk in...geesh they would throw the comments out there. Of course they would always throw out "hes gay" or "hes a punk"
I think men are sometimes worse then women. I think if a woman makes a comment about a man being good looking, the other guys feel like they have to put him down. Not all women are "catty" I honestly don't have a problem with other women...heck I get along with everyone.
