Sex while on period can hurt because of more chance for internal bruising due to swelling/bloating. I've found that blood is not the best fluid for sex, it's rather thin and dries fast, ouch..also any lubricant is warm at that location. I would imagine if she had cramps it might be a little uncomfortable, but not bad enough that you couldn't have sex When I had heavy bleeding with endometriosis I was in agony, I used to hemorrage a lot and I would be in hospital so much, so I had NO choice but to have a mirena coil put in. Sometimes we don't have a choice. |

Oh sounds like you need more foreplay .. Perhaps if you didn't tell him to hurry up .. He would spend time arousing you . Have you heard the phrase ... slippery when wet .. Estelle :-) I can't help it if it doesn't feel as good during my period, it's my body not yours duh. Anyway, you can enjoy bloody sex with cramps all you want.

Sex can be great for relieving cramps and not all women suffer cramps or swelling / bloating to the same degree .. Endometriosis is a painful condition and is not typical of a normal menstrual cycle . 
I know, I was just pointing out, that sometimes we don't have a choice to use hormone meds, I was replying to another poster, but I hit the wrong quote button. Sorry. 
Well if sex relieves cramps, all women should get jiggy with it lol

When his partner, is on her monthly? I know this doesn't bother all guys, and they have sex regardless But how about the man who doesn't like to? I ask this because it's never been a problem for me because I havnt had a monthly for many years, because I have a mirena coil due to endometriosis and this stops periods totally, for most people. I stay clear of that.. totally clear.. don't want to have anything to do with that. I know its natural... I know it is part of being a woman.. I know all that. . I can wait a week or so to go back down south.. I just stay north until the storm passes |

Talking about blood, I've just squeezed the hell out of a big cyst under my arm and the blood spirted quite a lot, that was cool. Ha ha

For me, the results should not ever be considered 'messy' or 'dirty' as it infers a negative overtone. I delight in the experience and the resulting bodily fluids from both partners. One woman I had a relationship with felt that she was 'untouchable' during her cycle even though she wanted sex. She was pleased to find my acceptance and find relief from cramps as well. I have now learned something new. Thank you. The only difference with endometriosis is, it's very painful and very heavy bleeding. And also when I was younger the endometriosis had spread outside my pelvis and twisted my bowells, it can also spread to the lungs and the brain, but doctors say that is harmless because of the large capacity of other organs. When endometriosis has spread from the pelvis, the pain is constant even when there is no bleeding, not just from the endometriosis, but from adhesions also. But the pain from endometriosis is worse when bleeding. Basically endometriosis is a benign cancer, it spreads like wildfire. There is another condition, very similar in name, but totally different. That condition is called endometritis. |

. That condition isn't so bad anymore. I still get the pain, but no bleeding because of the mirena. What I'm going to tell you know is worse than going down on a women on a period........ ........ When I worked in G.U medicine (clap clinic lol) there was a man in his late twenties who came with problems, and when the doctor pulled back his foreskin, there was years worth of cheese, it stunk the whole department out, this poor guy didn't realise he had to pull back his foreskin to clean himself, he had never done that ever, as to why there was years of cheese there. Stunk so bad some staff vomited lol So imagine a women giving him oral or anything for that matter
