They have a lot to answer to It took my son unlawful 8 years to get nz residential. And another 2 years to get citizenship. Without it he can't go to Aussie for a holiday. He has been here for 10 years. I hope you get it. Just be careful going over there. It's getting to dangerous in some places for westerners. Seen to many killings on the news. The sooner she is out the better. The main cities are fine...just like ours you have to use common sense as to where you go and don't walk around very late at night, especially alone... yeah takes time...ohhh yes that's just to get her here then you have to go though the permanent residency process... Ohh well... Note to newbies.... nobody said love was easy...but its worth it...

Look what's been happening in this world in places you least expect. Can she come over on a student visa? Some do it here then go on to a working visa then go on from that to permit resident then citizens. All the best and I wish you both well and it goes smoothly for you. PS stay away from the dark alleys. Lock your bags with a padlock. Pack it yourself. I got this advice when I went to Rarotanga At the airport in Rarotanga this guy asked if I had NZ green. I told him I don't do drugs. He laughed. He was meaning vegetables plants. Lol Don't want to see you on the news. |

Haha...Malaysia was quite scary...soldiers with machine guns pulled me aside and fingerprinted me at the airport...all because I only had hand luggage.... I only travel with hand luggage to make airports faster to traverse... it also means your luggage is with or above you at all times... Funnily enough the airport I get nervous at is my home airport Brisbane...those pesky sniffer dogs...I keep thinking they might pee on my luggage... |
