The majestic horseshoe crab.
1. They're more closely related to spiders than crabs. 2. They're considered "living fossils" because they're so cool they haven't had to change for about 450 million years. 3. They have bright blue antibacterial blood that saves millions of lives every year. And, really, they're just kinda cute. |

Wolverine
Wanderers of the mammal community. Mostly nocturnal scavengers with a voracious appetite. Fierce enough to kill an animal twice it's size. Pic didn't work. |

American Alligator!
1) They've got big mouths, just like me! They can/will eat anything smaller than themselves. 2) They are amphibious, meaning they live a dualistic life being buoyed by water, but can also trudge upon the hard, unforgiving land. (Think you can outrun an alligator? Better be sure - they've been clocked at 20m.p.h. over short distances - and don't think you can outswim one!) 3) C'mon, just look at that big ol' smile! Heh heh heh heh heh... 4) They've got rough natural armor for skin, just like me! Wait - no - that last part's not entirely true... |

When I was in Antarctica, everyone in my tour group seemed excited over the penguins. I gravitated towards the elephant seals. I loved their sweet, trusting eyes, their placid demeanor and their overall cuteness. That does describe me. Lol |
