Too many from overseas trying to meet people from Australia , anybody from overseas i just remove them as they are possibly only out to scam you , stick with people from my own country , that's best.

I've had a lot of marriage proposals from men in India, and Nigeria. Clearly scammers, and using fake photos. Their also very nasty when they don't hear what they want to, and a few have been threatening.

Yeah. They think they can pull the scam off. Here's my latest encounter. Girl lives in and was born and raised in England . She said she's in the military. In her picture she's got BDU on. Standing in front of an American flag. I tried to call her down o that : never heard back. The best ones are the ones that give out their email and phone number. They write me with that crap and I write them back and ask ," you're pretty trusting with the phone number and email addy. How do you know I'm not the next Charlie Manson or Henry Lee Lucas?" there is no doubt that there are a lot of scammers on this site, but on occasion I like to lead them on.. play with them a bit.. have them believe that they hit the " mother load".. before I tell them where to stick the Western Union tracking number

Many of the profiles on dating sites are scams, fake profiles.
I lost my trust in online men.

Do not think I have ever messaged with a scammer on this site! Have reported hundreds and ignored a bunch more, not being sure but thinking they may be. Have been "catfished" in the forums here and on other sites and had some Ladies show up for first meetings that were much older and/or fatter than their profile and "ancient" photos showed they were. The scammers are very easy to spot with their bad English, giving addresses, and telephone #; their age preferences (a -30 looking for someone 50-70 "to rob") are all telltale signs. No photos, no full length shots, no date stamps on the photos, etc make me leery of someone being what they say they are, only one photo and I will seldom return a message unless their interest are a tremendous match to mine.

BTW: I do not block any age, and will certainly answer any I have messaged with on the forums ......that is different

I'm new to online mate search and I keep getting inquiries from overseas as well. I find they want my email address or they want to Skype. I'm not sure what to make of this. I think I might go see if there might be some warm bodies in my own hometown. I'm not sure this is the place to be to meet people and have a serious relationship. Thoughts?
