You knew a couple and he was talking to her in a demeaning way. Would you say something or mind your business?

Not unless he lifted his hands to her, then i would get involved, anything else, it's their business. Last time i got involved in a couple arguing i had the two of them gang up on me and i left her boyfriend sparked out in the street, but got my head split from one of her stiletto heels! Not worth it!

when that was happening with a friend of mine, i took her aside and talked to her... then i took her away from him... then she went back, and neither were friends anymore...

so i would say leave it alone....

Definitly LEAVE IT ALONEscared ...We are not talking about children here...Adults need to be responsible for themselves...Especially in matters of the heart....If your man is demeaning you in public, pull out your silver tongue and strike back!! laugh laugh

I would and have talked to him. Emotional and mental abuse is just as bad as physical, sometimes it can be worse. A black eye will heal much faster than a broken spirit.

Not to meddle in others affairs, but if we see someone harming another, we ought to look out for one another.

One evening I was visiting with a married couple.
We had known each other for a long time.
They got to bickering like a couple of 12 year olds.
I finally had enough, and said "Hey...dumb and dumber"!
When they looked over toward me, they were greeted by the biggest,
spread cheeked, white moon azz I could muster.
She scurried out of the room and he laughed.
Then there was peace in the valley. happy

I would mind my own business, so long as it was 'just' words

BUT, if it was someone I was close with, I would speak about it to them later in our own private conversation,,,,

I think the world is messed up the way men are allowed to treat women. It would help if the law would reward those who intervene, not just punish those who commit crimes. A guy demeaning a woman in public is committing a crime, in many places it's against the law to harass anyone. I think minding your own business is turning a blind eye to a crime being committed. So, what if you saw a woman being hacked up by her boyfriend, would you also mind your own business?

That was not the question, and yes,it's STILL,nobody's business but theirs,if it really serious then starting to get"physically",out of hand, then yeah, but just lip service?Seriously? For some people,it's just an excuse for sticking their nose in what doesn't concern then,period!sad2

I would mind my own business unless I knew the person well. Then I would pull them over to the side and ask them why they're taking that crap.
