Hi everyone,

I will clarify some confusions people are having regarding to the new matches you are seeing.

1. The number of new matches is those people who have said YES to you in mutual match. Regardless of whether you have rated them or not.

2. The number may decrease, if some of those people deactivated/closed their account. We don't show users who have been deactivated on the site so they are taken out of the dating pool.

3. You can message/nudge/befriend/chat with anyone you like on the site. No one has to upgrade, ever, to interact with other users. We only provide these premium features for users who wants more functionality that we can't provide to everyone.

4. We work hard to eliminate scammers on the site, but like all dating sites, they are everywhere. If you cross path with a scammers at any point, please report them to us and we will ban them right away/

Thanks and hope everyone is enjoying our site. :)

I had 47, now its down to 43. I'd be willing to bet that we can't actually match with these numbers paid or not. My best guess since I read the message about the changes to come is that a few more privileges would be taken from the basic members, namely stealth mode and 'seeing who said yes to you (the numbers)'.
So basically no basic members can match with anyone since people who said yes to you were automatically made your "mutual match", hence the MUTUAL. Something else is mutual, we see the wool coming

mingle,

Save your effort pulling it over our eyes, it won't work. Either you restore the 'privileges' basic users had previously or lose us altogether and join Nabster in the list of defunct websites
that went bust. We might not be paying you, but word of mouth is still your biggest advertising.

Users, ever wonder why we only see commercials for Christian mingle and not mingle2? For those of US who aren't youth pastors jesus freaks or looking for someone fitting that description, this is where they lump us. Remember what I said about partnerships. I'd bet my boxers the two are ran by the same parent company. The same company that's screwing us out of our 'privileges' .

and the government is ran by aliens that one day will harvest our organs and sell them for a lifetime supply of milk duds scared

Those are NOT milk duds. Taste them if you don't believe me.

sheep droppings? we called them smart pills... the more you ate, the smarter you got...

We understand that you and others are frustrated by this Mutual Match number and other changes, mightymoe, but we simply need to improve the MinglePlus conversion rate a bit. More advantages in the premium product and a nudge like this one may help achieve this goal. At the end of the day, we don't find it unreasonably difficult for those so inclined to ignore this number.

That noted, it's current incarnation is not set in stone (although I make no promises) and we are analyzing its effects. Finally, there could be a bug where the "x new" number fluctuates up and down a little. We are looking into this potential glitch, but it should not make a huge difference in the number.

BTW, you can upgrade for free by compeleting a TrialPay offer. The thing about the premium account here as opposed to other sites is that its more simply to help support the website, rather than to unlock restrictions that most other sites restrict to paid only. Mingle is working on giving bonuses to premium users as a thank you, but they are not trying to limit basic users from being able to communicate and search.

TrialPay? huh

Any kind of anything with the word Pay in it isn't free. And please explain, MINGLE2, how rewarding PAID users with BONUS FEATURES is any different from RESTRICTING basic users from said features. If I'm not being restricted how come I can't see these #'d matches that I have without PAYING? In layman's terms, I cannot communicate or view these noway profiles without PAYING. Search? I don't live in Lagos Nigeria nor do I care to meet anyone there. Same goes for Los Angeles, 3000 miles is still too far to drive for a date so why ALL OF A SUDDEN do I have to search 80 (really only 65 if you don't count all the duplicator) pages to find 12 people that live within 500 miles of me? I get that someone has to get rid of the obvious fakes and you can't spot them all at once but the profiles don't show up more than once because they're fake. Your it team is probably undersized and under paid but there are tell tale signs that a cave newt could see through 50' of limestone.

Actually you can view and communicate with them without having to upgrade. You just have to know how to use the site. Try not jumping to conclusions and making false accusations when you don't know or understand something. Instead explore, learn, and figure out things.

Im not saying this is the perfect site or anything, but when spread false information based on your emotions and lack of understanding, that's just as bad as any other form of spam.

Plenty of information is available on the forums to help you use and understand the site better. However, theres no magic wand feature, not even if you upgrade. lol Youre still casting your net in the ocean as opposed to a lake.
