Topic: Muslim terrorists just like Muhammad | |
---|---|
Muslim terrorists act more like Muhammad than peaceful Muslims want to admit. Sure, Muhammad wrote peaceful stuff in the Quran when he was lacked military muscle and was camped out in Medina. However, once he had formed his army, Muhammad used the sword to force Arabs to submit to him and to his religion. Taking control of the state meant that Muhammad could add to the Quran statements that modern-day Muslim terrorists cite as justification for their terrorism. Muhammad used physical force to scare people into submission. Modern-day Muslim terrorists have the same goal. After all, "Islam" means "submission".* *The meaning of the word "Islam" is something that I learned in a college "Islam" course that I took during the 1980s. The theologian who taught it was a Muslim from Saudi Arabia. |

More have died in the name of religion than for any other reason known to man! Sure, you can repeat that urban legend, but can you cite evidence supporting it? |

Remember the Crusades? The Spanish Inquisition? More have died in the name of religion than for any other reason known to man! Not just Islam Crusades (1095-1291) approx. 3,000,000 http://necrometrics.com/pre1700a.htm#European the entire Inquisition of 500 years, caused about 6,000 deaths http://catholicbridge.com/catholic/inquisition.php#How%20many%20people%20were%20killed%20in%20the%20Inquisition Medieval wars as a whole: Pitirim Sorokin estimated that Europeans lost some 435,000 men on the battlefield between 900 and 1450 CE: The Conquest of the Americas Estimate Death Toll from war, murder, genocide, aggravated disease and avoidable famine: 15 million (Matthew White, The Great Big Book of Horrible Things: The Definitive Chronicle of History's 100 Worst Atrocities (W. W. Norton, 2012) http://necrometrics.com/pre1700a.htm#European 25 million people died in just under five years between 1347 and 1352. Estimated population of Europe from 1000 to 1352 http://www.themiddleages.net/plague.html WW1 37,466,904 http://www.pbs.org/greatwar/resources/casdeath_pop.html WW2 72,468,900 http://www.secondworldwarhistory.com/world-war-2-statistics.asp ................................................ From these numbers it would seem political ideology wins over religion. Man .... the only species on earth that constantly looks for better and bigger ways to kill off his own species. |
the species was diseased before a religious book was ever penned
God did some things that were pretty equivalent to what Muhammed did,, I don't judge it I just know that my faith is in God and that he knows what is just,,,, along with those 'bad' things though, he also did many amazing and blessed things via Jesus Christ |
Throughout the course of recorded history, people of all faiths, have killed, maimed, tortured, and raped,
in the name of their religion. If we're to trash on a prophet, can't we at least point out, that Mohammed's wife Ayesha was six years old when the "marriage" was consummated? |

depends upon the translation and whom you ask

Even in Islam he is looked at as a messenger, not god. |

People who make a claim are responsible for citing evidence for that claim. you're responsible for your own knowledge... It doesn't work that way. When one makes a claim, one is responsible for providing evidence supporting the claim. |

depends upon the translation and whom you ask not really, it's true... why are muslims acting like 7 century idiots? because they believe that's what allah wants, or that's the excuse they use anyway... |

When one makes a claim, one is responsible for providing evidence supporting the claim. whatever, David, I'll just look things up for myself instead of relying on others to feed me info, that just sounds stupid... no wonder why the liberals love ignorant people, they are to lazy to find things out for themselves... |
