I cannot im anyone even if the im logo is on in their profile

Same,.. It tries to load, fails and leaves you wondering what went wrong. Am using latest version of Google Chrome.

i have never had any luck with the instant messenger here lol
most messages i sent like 4 messages and am lucky to see one get sent
as well as hear the sounds of someone sending me them and i see nothing <shrug>
i just use there email

Reply email, as IM did not work for him, though he posted an unseen reply:
"Hi, I got your IM,.. (well, 3 messages),.. anything that I've sent as a reply has vanished into thin air,. also,. the pop-out IM fails. I haven't used the IM system for an eternity for just those reasons. Oh, and it also shuts down and reloads, (well, it TRIES to reload anyway, often fails), whenever the page changes as I browse through the site, (mail, profiles, forum etc)."
