Topic: Poetic heart or Badboy/girl... a poll... | |

Ok... guys, we have all said it! "How can she possibly want to be with someone like him?".... RIGHT?
Ladies.... Inquiring minds want to know In general, what are we looking for? The world is made up of all types of personalities. Some unique, some simply tasteless with no flavor at all. What is your perfect mix? Let's have some fun, but "real" answers are the request. |

Someone a little like me- but not quite...

I confess I like the bad boy type! But, no druggies or drunks, did that once to many times!

From the guy's point of view, i prefer someone who's creative, smart, romantic, sexual loving, honest and loyal. As for the bad girls....well, the thing about bad girls and bad boys is that it is a turn on, they almost always end up screwing you over in the end...because it's kinda just who they are. I'd much rather have someone who's shy and ugly then a trouble maker and hot. But thats just 1 guy's oppinion

hmmm.. that's a good one. I think I would just like to have someone with a kind heart. To me.....its weird how someone's personality can turn them into the most attractive person I've ever met. But that's just my opinion.

I agree...it's funny how women always say that men only look for looks, but i am willing to bet a good majority of men like personality first, it's that women are more into people that treat them bad or men they feel are a challange. I know i could get far more women by being an asshole, it's just that i think its wrong....

MsTeddy... they would have to be a little different. There's no one quite like you
Dawnette... I agree, hince my "user name". I enjoy dancing a bit on the wild side, but the sand of drugs and alcohol doesn't make for very good footing in a relationship, huh? Charlie.... AMEN Bro! It's not about shy and ugly, outgoing and beautiful, it's how they make you feel.....can they make you smile.... msveeay.... It's not wierd! Sexy and beautiful comes from the inside and is expressed outwardly. I agree with your opinion. Maybe we're both wierd?! |

A Poetic heart and soul, Always..since I began writing.I wanted, needed , desired someone to understand the process in which I go through, how I write, when, where and the emotions involved..a mate who could understand this, respect this..perhaps even do this himself. And he does...
I have done the "Bad Boy" thing..only to find that is not who or what I am about....It's never been about a look or attitude its always been about heart and soul. |

Cherub... You ROCK! It's always a pleasure viewing your postings in the forum.
It's better to burn out than to fade away, but a poetic heart will always leave a brighter tail across the universe |

The Journey To Here
Today I met a new friend, who blessed me with a smile I couldn't turn and walk away, we had to talk awhile I found we were a lot alike, with words we'd stopped to share We talked on many subjects, and they really seemed to care We laughed at many silly things, that happened in our life We shared an understanding, when the topic turned to strife I really couldn't help but think, they truly understood And sharing, with my new found friend, it made me feel quite good We had but just a minute, in our busy, hectic day And both had things, that must be done, yet paused here anyway Many rushed and passed us by, like busy little drones Gulping down their hurried drinks, and talking on their phones We shared a smile about that too, when my friend said to me "How can you live a happy life, and not enjoy a tree?" I turned and looked, and sure enough, I hadn't even seen The many trees, that lined the streets, and one right next to me! Suddenly, I realized, they'd given me a gift By pointing out what I had missed, it gave my soul a lift How many times I'd past this place, and even yet today And never even noticed trees, I'd passed along the way I realized my thoughtlessness, the things I took for spite Like something simple as a tree, that always missed my site Here among the concrete, and the busy, dirty, street I found a thing of beauty, and right beneath my feet My friend moved on, but parted with a hand shake and a smile I noticed I was smiling, and had been all the while This stranger I had never met, had truly blessed my life I found I had forgotten of my hardships and my strife So I share with you this story, hoping it will help you too To try and find the beauty, in anything you do For when you pause, and look around, one thing comes quite clear It's not the destination, but the journey, to right here! ***It's all about the desire to make a moment count. I read a great thought on this somewhere.... "Life is like a tombstone. There is a date you are born, and a date you depart, your life is contained within the dash between." |

So, charliex, men would rather go for personality than looks?
why is it then that I joined jsh like a year ago, but no one wanted to know anything about me until after I put up a photo. my profile had no pic until this past july, and in the previous year since I joined I had three visits to my page-and guys aren't interested in looks. please. |

I like a good guy with just a little bit of the bad boy in him to spice things up.....

Tina... Please know that this issue goes both ways. Yes, we are all drawn to things beautiful. We also like to window shop, and if those windows are boarded up (no photo), how many customers will an ad bring, no matter the wording? As humans, we like a visual. Would you enter the desert without a map, compass and a little water? I often reply to ads that have no friends and few visitors. Treasure doesn't always come to you, and at times, it hides very well I hope posting your pic has helped. You can be my friend anytime
texas..... I have my heart going in a fairly non-wavering direction at the moment until I know the outcome, otherwise girl...... |

someone that can love the essence of me...
that has a compassionate, spiritual, giving, and loving soul... someone that isn't holding onto pain from past relationships... and someone that doesn't take life too seriously (great sense of humor).... |

I have the bad boy too, didn't work for me.I need some one with a good sense of humor so we can laugh together, physical is not as important to me as spiritual, the mind heart and soul

heart... maybe I am wrong, but a poetic heart is one that turns fantasy into reality. Sharing the creative inside to paint over the graffiti life leaves on our souls. Not discounting the realities of the past, just redecorating to make room for something more enjoyable. Your essence is beautiful, as you are.
pkh.... you can chuckle with me anytime sweetie. |

I'm just me. Take me or leave me.

I don't have any opinions on the topic, but I will point out that no_psychos_please has a positively BAD ASS mustache.

Poetic soul, with a large pinch of heart, finely diced humour, rolled in laughter, and slow roasted in tolerance.
