Beware of the Nation of Islam

A fired employee who had been trying to convert co-workers to Islam stabbed two female colleagues - beheading one of them - before an off-duty officer shot him, police have said.

Alton Alexander Nolen, 30, was fired from Vaughan Foods, a food distribution center in Moore, Oklahoma on Thursday before returning to his car and smashing it into another vehicle.

He then climbed out and entered the building, attacking the first two people he encountered with a knife, Moore Police Sergeant Jeremy Lewis said.

After beheading Colleen Hufford, 54, and stabbing Traci Johnson, 43, multiple times, Nolen was shot by off-duty officer Mark Vaughan, who was working at the business.

On Friday, Lewis said that Nolen had been trying to convert co-workers to Islam and that local police had contacted the FBI to help investigate the man's background, KFOR reported.

Co-workers said Nolen himself had only just converted to Islam, according to News9. It is not yet known if his beliefs played a role in the attack.

This type of dogmatic belief system is found in many religions and causes untold murder, and torture and education coupled with a degree of tolerance is the solution . fighting cultural ignorance is a formidable task though...

Please Islam like christianity is religion of peace not of terrorist,don't judge Islam by terrorist because each evil people is only represent themselves not Islam or any religion

What I'm not reading from the Muslim community is condemnation of horrific acts committed by their brothers and sisters.

Here's the scenario when it comes to the so-called moderate Muslims.

To many on here, it does not really matter if his religious beliefs had anything to do with; the fact that he's not "Christian" like them is good enough, coupled with the fact that he's not white like them, on top of the fact that they KNOW he's not conservative and *right* like them.

Hating others for *good* reason is easy to do...sometimes you just have to dig a little deeper to uncover the justifications for it. It's important to periodically remind yourself that because you're Christian, of course you're not hate-filled Barbarian like "all those Muslims are".

1 He was trying to get converts.
2 He was pissed he got fired.
3 He decapitated a woman.

Any idiot can see, two out of three actions are Muslim related.

1. Only Muslims try to get converts? Somebody should get word to the bicycling-riding Jehovah's Witnesses.

2. Only Muslims get pissed when they get fired? When did Donald Sterling, the ex owner of the Clippers abandon his Jewish faith?

3. Henry VIII, the founder of the (Christian) Protestant religion had two of his six wives beheaded ("decapitated"). He WAS a Catholic, but then created a whole new religion so he divorce women when he was through with them.

Muslims don't drink

1. Yes, as much as I disagree with the Jehovah's Witnesses' practices, they don't decapitate people.
2. Donald Sterling is a stretch when you compare the two cases. Yes he was wrong, but no one lost their life over it.
