do you actually know what passive-aggressive means? O_O seriously, if you only read it in a magazine article, you're thinking of some accorded person's fantasy of how impoverished people function. Passive-aggressive means I'm too timid to disagree but when your instructions don't play out well I blame you for my following them. There are many possible reasons for this. They could be an idiot, but you could be the idiot instead. It works the same either way. Everything of what stated is based on research. I wrote a term paper on this subject and had to present it orally. I know exactly what passive aggression means. Control is the main factor in this behavior.

Do you think passive aggressive people are lovable? Errr, can I ask, what is a passive aggressive person Covert, indirect abuse to another person. Doesn't take responsibility for their own actions. Always plays the victim. Afraid of discussing anything serious. Ever. Best example I can think of is waiting until your head is sticking out of the window in the bitter cold to turn on the wind shield wipers. Could it be someone who is dead serious all the time and has no sense of humour.

Could it be someone who is dead serious all the time and has no sense of humour. It's passive behavior. A toddler in an adults body. One who hasn't developed mentally. Blames everyone else, takes zero responsibility. Has a hard time talking about feelings and doesn't try to. Doesn't express much of anything. Lets anger and emotions build up inside to explode unexpectedly.

It sounds similar to a wife who is mentally abused by her husband

They are hostile... They are stubborn... They are sarcastic... They procrastinate... They have a negative attitude... They are sullen... They are resentful... They are in denial... They take no responsibility for their actions... They see themselves as victims... They vacillate... They are abrasive... They are discontented... It's passive behavior. A toddler in an adults body. One who hasn't developed mentally. Blames everyone else, takes zero responsibility. Has a hard time talking about feelings and doesn't try to. Doesn't express much of anything. Lets anger and emotions build up inside to explode unexpectedly. That sounds like developmentally learning disabled to me. The term "slow" comes to mind.

I work with a guy who is a text book passive aggressive and it's sad to watch him and funny at the same time. I would be very careful with a person that you have to be smart and know when to jump ship. Nothing will make them happier then to see you go down with them.

True! out of the four personality types passive,passive-aggressive,assertive and agressive the pasive type is usualy one with collapsed boundaries as people walk through their nonxistent boundaries until they have had enough.Then often adopting the aggressive personality type and shut everyone out of their life for periods of time. Most pasive personality types will bounce back and forth between the two of them in periods through there life.
