Average size for women in America is a size 16 so unless accurate full photos are used you will likely be duped as women tend to be in denial with euphemisms such as a few extra pounds, a little extra, curvy to name but a few. If they refuse to add more than head shots you are likely going to meet an obese gal who will believe she can charm you while ignoring their excessive girth.. If you appreciate large women then proceed but otherwise exercise caution and ask for more visual representation. When first starting i met several gals who deceived me with head shots and old photos and when we met they outweighed me at 185.. best of luck whatever your preferences.

Well... according to studies conducted in the U.K.,
The average iq is 107 in the U.K., 106 in the U.S., and 105 in Canada. Wait! This was about another type of average. |

I'm sorry that was a rude joke.. Maybe, but made me laugh - out loud ... Do hope to never see that picture again ... or any like it As for average, I think this varies per country/continent. In the States it's bound to be bigger and in Asia prolly smaller. But I think these days 16 will be average. |

I only really know bra sizes.
I guess it's like how on other sites they make you say how good looking you are. Maybe they're trying to discourage chubby chasers. I'm not sure but I know women that deny that they are fat and say that they are just cuddly and I think that it would be unfair to call them obese. Also, "a few extra pounds" kind of implies that it's excess weight that they might be trying to get rid of. |

when women saying there are an average size, what is an average? my knowledge is size 8-10 In the U.S., the average size for women is 14....Average height is 5'4"...Average weight is 166.2...BUT, google is your friend...I never see threads started in which women are asking the same or similar questions about men ....Speaks well of the ladies ..For all you men who date according to size, make that clear up front...Man up gentlemen, give your potential love interest(s) a detailed "spec" sheet and tell them there will be NO exceptions made for above average intelligence, great sense of humor, beautiful eyes, radiant smiles, life achievements, or income level....That way neither one of you will feel a need to stretch the truth or run the 'life threatening' risk of meeting a size 14 or , god forbid 16, for a cup of coffee.... PS:...The size choices offered on our profiles are VAGUE for a reason, if you don't like this store, shop elsewhere.. |

The average height and weight of women varies around the world, but in the United States in 2010 the average adult female height was 63.8 inches -- approximately 5-foot-4 -- and 166.2 pounds, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This number is higher than in the past and corresponds to a body mass index that is classified as overweight.
Increases in BMI The average weight of American women in 2010 is significantly higher than that of 1960, when the average American woman weighed 140.2 pounds; this is an increase of 26 pounds. The average height has also increased during that time period, but by a much smaller margin -- 63.1 to 63.8 inches. As a result of this disproportionate increase in weight, the average Body Mass Index of women in 2010 is 28.7, which falls into the category of overweight. By comparison, the average Body Mass Index of women in 1960 was 24.9, which is on the high end of normal. http://www.livestrong.com/article/357769-weight-height-for-the-average-american-woman/ |
