If a pregnant woman has never been married and claims to be a "Christian", then I'd want to know why she was pregnant in the first place. Of course, that is just me.

Whoa, reading this gives the impression that you might be judging her for getting pregnant outside marriage. If that's the case, it is a bit harsh. I had Christian friend who was in that category and I loved her regardless. I can't cast the first stone as ultimately it is up to her to sort her life out.

Christians make mistakes but I also understand that you might be referring to the fact that the Christian standard is to be careful about dating and not sleep around etc. and to honour our bodies and God and to get married etc. I myself was thinking 'Where is her boyfriend?' and why is she looking for other men's attention...

Folks, within the Christian faith, it is inappropriate for a single Christian to be engaging in sexual intercourse. That is why I said what I said. So, if a never-married Christian woman is pregnant, then it would be reasonable for me to ask why she is pregnant.

Of course all Christians make mistakes by doing things that go against the Christian faith.

I have a niece who became pregnant out of wedlock, and she was a Christian at the time. She confessed to the members of her church that her pregnancy was the result of wrongdoing on her part.

Confession of wrongdoing is also a part of Christianity.

I was baptized, by a priest in the Roman Catholic way. Trust me when I say, No matter what, I am and always will be Christian.
