I enjoy "witty" (perhaps delusion of grandeur) banter with friends. It's usually satirical, but often touches on poignant social, philosophical, or (rarely) political topics. How come no matter how smart we THINK we are, it typically ends up a romper room about music, poop, or sex? (or a short list of sophmoric subjects with moronic takes?)
