I enjoy painting...Everything! :)
I love the holidays & painting minature scenery
on things I find from my walks in the woods...rocks...driftwood..shells
etc.
And also recycle things like burned out bulbs..that become Santas &
Angels now hang on our tree at Christmas.

Also work with Polymer clay...sculpting
minatures...scenery..dolls...Angels...Santas jewelry etc.

Had a couple of my dolls showcased in New York at the annual Doll &
Creative Arts Show.

Just wanted to know if there are other
artists/craftsmen on here & what mediums
you use to create your art.

I feel that I am artistic but I prefer a live medium. I like working
with plants. Bonsia is something I love to do. I have never got into
making animal shapes from plants but I have sculted a few different
things in larger plants. I tried painting and found I loved doing it but
I suck at it. Maybe some day I can have the time to spend to get better
at it. I am not into throwing a bunch of colors on something and calling
it art. I did make a couple small scultures from sheet metal. Both where
gargoles that I placed on the corners of the press I worked on until a
super said I had to remove them. We had welding training time that I
used to make them in. The sad thing is they could not be brought home
and ended up in the scrap bin. So I could see myself doing alot more of
that if I had the money for a shop.

Yes..I like to draw,paint,and sketch,but my selected medium
is chalk pastels,as I am able to blemd th colors better.
Also,I collect other artists work,like some folks collect stamps
This is one of the many things I am interested in.....M.

I use my voice to paint, peace and joy and emotion.

and POEMS are a great form of art as well...M.

It depends what you consider art. I do photography and drafting.

"Ghost",,,to me,all forms of expression are art,
if good,,or sad,what ever,and moves you in any direction,
toward a positive goal,is art,food,is art,mimes,,,art,
be it song or story,pics or poem,it is art in my lonely eyes.....M.

be it drawing...welding...plants...culinery..music.....it's a endless
list...with no boundarys.

Working on Angels &
primitive Santas beginning this weekend & on
up to couple weeks before Christmas.

Already working on my nativity scene in clay...
they take the most time to do...so I'm only making 2 this year...one is
a special order..
& the other will be raffled off at our local
benefit for disabled children.

So is collecting garbage a form of art too? LOL

Well, I guess so buy today's standards.

Peeing in a bowel and submerging a crucifix in it was considered art so
I guess anything goes.

Photography & drafting are a positive form of
Art.....why so negative now?

I don't think rocks..drift wood..
etc is "garbage"...

and I would rather turn something discarded
like bulbs & unwanted DVD discs etc...
that would otherwise end up in a landfill
somewhere into something worth keeping..

im an artist as well musically and visually. on the visual side of
things i did some pics on my pc but ive done designs on a couple cars
and signs ive drawn alot of my freinds tattoos,and musically i play bass
guitar,six string acoustic or electric,and piano\ keyboards if you want
to check a couple of my pics out they are on my profile :)
