I wouldn't have much interest in a man who hasn't been in any relationship whatsoever. First question that pops up "What is wrong with him?"
Liars would probably be excruciatingly sexy men, players, with no intention to settle for one girl, as they're having to much fun playing the field, doing every girl they can.
Girls fall for their smooth stories and most girls have this typical female thing of thinking "it will be different with me! He will change!"
Many women still think that a guy will change.
The other side is that there's a reason why these guys are and can be players, and that's cos they have mojo. They're self-confident, have flair and sex-appeal.

Same thing happens the other way round. There are plenty of women who get by simply because they happen to have a good body or pretty face, but lack personality or are air-heads. But because of their bodies/pretty face, everyone seems to forget they have nothing else to offer than looks that will fade.
Different sex, same scenario.

Which boils down to ppl in general being dim when it comes to spotting the right partner for them.

1. People have emotional triggers; liars, con-artists and scammers will use this. People will respond emotionally even if they know they are being lied to.
2. Don't come off needy. Don't even say "I need...." around a woman
