Topic: Timing... is everything

How do we know when the time is right for anything? Don't we just take our best guess and hope for the best? Can you think of any "for instances" or "examples" that describe the benefits of "perfect timing"? Or can you describe any "pitfalls or blunders" that occurred when the timing was/is off? Don't be timid about sharing in the contemplation of the folly or usefulness of time on this thread.

And humor too. Sometimes I can try to tell a joke the way I heard it, and laughed my a$$ off at the time... But even as I'm stumbling over the punchline I know my delivery isn't serving it any justice.

I always stuff up the punch line There has been times when I have concentrated so hard to get the punch line perfect I start the joke with the punch line
