Contraception .. Bought with it free choice .. Liberating sex and the way it is viewed. Your own moral compass and beliefs guide you in what is acceptable for you .. Free will allows you to make that choice without judgement What does that have to do with the original topic? By the way, since when is sex a necessity for the physiological survival of anyone? The things that are physiological necessities are those things that one needs to keep from literally dying.

As for sex being a Physiological needs .. Those words belong to Maslow .. A psychologist .. And represent just one theory of thought . So, are you saying that a psychologist can be full of excrement?
