I'm not exactly sure what the complaint is here anyway. Is the OP saying that he isn't connecting with anyone online that then wants to take it further and actually meet, or is he saying that he's just meeting floozies? Is he just complaining that nobody is interested in him at all?

You lot will be getting tired of me saying this but the ones that want to drag out a long exchange with the emails are unlikely to do anything apart from that. If you're not fast you're last and the people that are on here for dating are doing just that and while you're wasting time someone else comes along and just asks them out. Get real and talk to real people. You can't get to know someone properly from behind a computer and even if they do like you they tend to get hooked on a fantasy which you will never match up to.

Oh Lordy.....it was a joke. Actually, and to be honest....men on dating sites get that "only want to shag" label. When I was on another site you would read something to the effect of "Men. I do not want to see your junk nor do I want a one night stand". However, I also felt bad for those dudes who said "junk" and meant that they wanted to girl to see his collection of baseball cards.

I couldn't say if it's because they just don't fancy you mate. Could be that they think that you're vain with a user name like that. Are you saying that you're getting no replies at all?

Profile and user name do effect it because with this it's all about first impressions. I get a reasonable amount of interest but you aren't going to be everybody's cup of tea and when you get frustrated that just tends to make it worse. I've been chatting with a couple of them this week and one is a longshot that isn't keen on meeting anybody at the moment and all I'll probably get is chat from her. One of those ones that's on here because a friend suggested it and frankly, I doubt that she needs to go on the internet to get a man from the look of her. I've already suggested meeting up with the other one and that's what you have to do. Don't fart about or get into any heavy conversations with them. Don't act desperate and just introduce yourself, tell them that you're on here for dating and if they're not into that just move on and another one will come along that won't be a time waster sooner or later.
